I await they day, you lose this your delusion.

Why can't you just empathize and be done? No, you must bring in your belief in religion even when consoling an atheist.

Funny, Happy, that you titled this thread "Faith and Medicine.

When waist down stopped working I had faith that I would heal despite at the time knowing there was no God. It would have been rather off if I hadn't had faith that I would heal or adapt to live with my condition.

Imagine not having faith in the ability of very well educated and knowledgeable specialists in their fields who were trying to cure me.

Imagine placing that faith in the things one does not see and know very little about? Some did suggest I'd been spelled!

Imagine being so unknowledgeable and doing nothing to reduce that unknowledgeableness? Did I research like hell!

I became a guinea pig not only for my rare illness of spinal schistosomiasis, but also for my attitude towards my closeness to dying or paralysis. And in what they found so interesting did I look in a mirror and see the Christ in me, tiny as it was, and buda knew there is God.

Funny that its an axiom, of some sort. One one ought to understand.

We will grow, people. We will all grow!

Is there any condition or circumstance under which it would be right for a Christian to "bring in [his] belief" where you are concerned?

Yes. There is a time and place for preaching.

But not to an atheist who suffered loss at the hands of unscrupulous Christians.

Go on then. Describe one such time and place for me.

While I do agree that unscrupulous and perhaps misguided charlatans sought to exploit our friend's people in their grief, I am not sure that you can blame Christians for the death of his siblings. Is this how you conceive of life? That Christians are the cause of all pain?

Hence, my statement that you are a delusional Christian.

Imagine a Muslim preaching to you after you lose someone from boko haram bombing. While the Muslim has every right to preach, that wouldn't be an appropriate time to do so.

huh

Why do you ask silly questions? From my statement, shouldn't it be clear that I have no problems with christains preaching their religion except when it is inappropriate?

How then do you get to ask if I believe that all Christians are to blame for pain that some few unscrupulous Christians caused?

My guy, stop this show of silliness. It is no wonder you have never won any soul for christ on nairaland. You always end up looking like the senseless party in any discussion.

Again, I will ask for the last time- would you find it appropriate for a Muslim to preach Islam to you while you are mourning the death of your friend to boko haram?

No, in fact, it is not clear that you have no problems with Christians proclaiming the Gospel, not even from the above. You claimed that this is the wrong place to proclaim the Gospel, and I asked you where the right place is. Your lack of an answer suggests that there is no right place, as long as you don't like wherever it is. If that suggestion is unwarranted, go on and give a clear answer. Where is it appropriate to proclaim the Gospel?

I asked you if Christians are to blame for the death of our friend's siblings? Your assumption that we are is exactly why I am also asking you if you think that we are the cause of all the pain in the world.

As for a show of silliness, are my comments silly for any reason other than that you say that they are? The same goes for looking like the senseless party in discussions. Is that the case or did it only become the case because you said so?

As for winning souls, I don't know how you know what you know. Perhaps no one has seen fit to seek the Gospel and respond to it on my account, but who says that that was my mission here? I don't remember receiving instructions from you to save souls. My own Master gave me no such instructions. I'm here mostly to defend weak believers and be a sign post pointing them and anyone else with any interest in the direction of Truth. The feedback is not part of my job description.

As for your question, my answer are the questions I asked you before.
