Congratulations to the latest preggy!
The journey of the next nine months will be a smooth one for you all.
May every gtc on this platform be remembered this year. May we bring forth our bundles of joy come year 2020.

Does anyone have an idea of how much laparoscopy surgery cost? I was diagnosed for ovarian dermoid cyst on both ovaries. Herbs didn't work neither did medications work. Someone mentioned Delight hospital Ibadan to me via this platform. Do you have an idea its cost?
Thanks.

mine was with tube blockage and it cost 150k and you will still do some other test before that which will cost like 50k again so. cos your is cyst alone it may not more than 100k try and go there to find out

Congratulations to all mamas with the BFP,s. May ours locate is very soon than we even expect, so I was added to a TTC group on Telegram and I got talking and asking questions ooo and the doctor told me he was going to help treat my hydrosalpinx but it's going to cost 150k. I got to know it was herbal treatment ooo and he says it's for 3 months, I say infertility na bastard ooo herbal people are charging us that much because of what now. Has anybody tried using this before, did it actually work or does anyone know why it's that expensive. BTW my hubby finally had his SFA and Dr said he has improved well that my hydrosalpinx might be the cause of not getting preggy a year after his surgery, I went to our nhis to get referral letter to Ile-epo General hospital for proper examination and I was told our nhis does not cover infertility treatment. Hubby is a civil servant (federal) what do I do now. We are broke,God help us

I have been trying for a year now with Dh and i went for scan which i later got to find out that i have subserosal fibroid of 36×44mm and retroverted uterus.
Please how does this affect my chance of getting pregnant as i don't know what to do with this result
I am on wellwoman plus and vitamin c 500g.
Please help me with suggestions.Must i go for surgery? Can i shrink the fibroid or can i get pregnant with it?I am 25 years old and i never thought it could be fibroid.I am so depressed.

No need for depression, dear. The fibroid is not that big in my opinion. Just don't do or take things that will cause it to grow and multiply. Avoid self medication and herbs. Just go straight to a good hospital or fertility clinic for them to manage you and try to get you pregnant as soon as possible. Avoid pregnacare conception, fertilaid and most fertility supplements for now. They will only increase the fibroid cos of the inositol and plenty 'ogbonge' ingredients in them. Inositol is natural clomid and best for women who do not have cysts/fibroids or who have removed theirs . The only one I recommend to those with fibroid is well woman Original. I took it before conceiving. You need simple stuffs now or none at all except recommended. I think Wellwoman plus is OK too. Just check to be sure it doesn't contain inositol or ingredients that feed fibroid. Read up on fibroid growers and avoid or reduce them for now. Even some foods feed fibroid.

My advice is to just identify a good hospital and work with them while praying and hoping on God. Don't bother trying different different things so you don't increase the fibroid and waste money. N no need for operation. You can conceive with that size I should think. Just be fast about it with God's help cos they also grow with time. Above all, don't be afraid. Get informed, get going, continue praying.

My own advice from experience is that you can still conceive with that size but after conception you need to walk close to your doctor for medical advice. I will advice you not to embark on any surgery now since the Fibroid is only one. Congratulations in advice for your BFP. Ensure your husband also carried out his test.

FIBROID AND ITS SOLUTION.
Fibroid is a lump or growth in the uterus that is not cancerous. Fibroids can start as small as a pea to as large as a basketball. They are usually round and pinkish in color, and they can grow anywhere inside or on the uterus. About 30% of women older than 30 years have fibroids, and they usually appear between the ages of 35 and 45. Some women are more likely to get fibroids, including black women, women who have never been pregnant and women who have a mother or sister with fibroids. The cause of fibroids is unknown. However, the female hormone estrogen seems to play a role in stimulating the growth of some fibroids.
SYMPTOMS
Some women never realize that they have fibroids because they have no symptoms. In other women, uterine fibroids are discovered either during a routine gynecologic examination or during prenatal care.
When symptoms of fibroids occur, they can include:
Pelvic pain or pressure
Heavy menstrual bleeding
Bleeding or spotting between menstrual periods
Unusually frequent urination
Abdominal swelling
Low back pain during intercourse or during menstrual periods.
Fatigue or low energy from heavy periods and excessive bleeding.
Infertility, if the fibroids are blocking the fallopian tubes.
Constipation.
Repeated miscarriages.
DIAGNOSIS
Usually, a woman doesn't realize that she has a fibroid until her gynecologist feels it during a pelvic examination. If your gynecologist thinks you have a fibroid, several tests can confirm the diagnosis:
EXPECTED DURATION
The number of fibroids, their size and how fast they grow varies among women. Female hormones encourage fibroids to grow, so they continue growing until menopause. Some fibroids shrink after menopause. However, larger fibroids may change little or become only slightly smaller in size. If a woman has had fibroids removed surgically, new fibroids can appear any time before she enters menopause.
PREVENTION
There are no proven measures you can take to prevent fibroids from developing. Studies show that athletic women seem to be less likely to develop fibroids than women who are obese or who don't exercise.
