Billionaire businessman, Tony Elumelu, has joined in a breakfast meeting on the sidelines of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7) holding in Japan.

The conference, the largest in Japan, is being attended by presidents and business leaders and will last from August 28-30.

Mr Elumelu spoke on Wednesday alongside President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, and the Executive Director of United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Henrietta Fore, at the UNICEF Gen-U private breakfast meeting.

Elumelu, the chairman of Heirs Holdings, shared insights on the potential of African entrepreneurs to catalyse the transformation of the continent.

Chief Executive Officer of Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), Ifeyinwa Ugo, will also speak at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)-sponsored side event themed “Unlocking innovative solutions for the SDGs”.

She will join representatives of UNDP and several Japanese private sector leaders on the sidelines of the event.

President Muhammadu Buhari is also attending the conference.

Where the fork is our dullard? Did he rush in to take the group picture and then rushed back into his hiding hole?

Look at Kagame, doing his thing, mingling and sharing solid ideas. Buhari just rushed in for a few photo ops, and Adesina and co are now declaring this trip a success.

Buhari should go to the Nigerian embassy and mingle with Nigerians. That is the way things should be. He should interact with Nigerians resident in Japan. For once he should drop his cowardice and behave in a presidential manner.

Nigerians should be waving the Nigerian flag as he drives by. He should interact with the Japanese in their environment also.

It seems as though IPOB has proscribed Buhari from the only piece of Nigerian soil in Japan, The Nigerian Embassy. Tufiakwa. Cowardice is a disease

96 graduating Med Students of Howard, 46 of them, Nigerians who made the University proud. Yet, you'll never hear news like this on MAINSTREAM media. All you'll hear is how all Nigerians are scammers or how a Nigerian fraudster was apprehended by the FBI.

This kind of news piece will not go viral, no. It is good news. The world is more interested in bad news when it comes to some target nations. Nigerians themselves won't talk widely about this, no. The west isn't, so they won't. You hate to hear it.

May the Almighty strengthen and shower with Grace all Nigerian Queens and Kings home and abroad, fighting tooth and nail to give this nation a name worth celebrating even amidst the atrocious acts of our leaders past and present.

Can you imagine the immense contributions those 46 Nigerians would make to the American health sector and larger economy?

46 out of 96? That's almost 50%!!!

When I tell us not to accept unfair stereotyping of Nigeria/Nigerians, this is why. We're a great and incredible people. Nigerians doing well across different sectors of the US, in particular, are just too many

For kids that will still likely wail grin

Toni is looking at expanding into East Africa market.

I saw a news on CGTN recently (African business report) about Toni's willingness to lunch UBA in the Kenyan market.

I am sure Toni is probably having a meeting with MR Kegame about the possibilities of doing something similar in Rawanda.

Hence, this meeting is not Buhari's business..

Toni is simply an investor in the Rawandan economy in this case.
