Scouts from the Laliga side have been monitoring his performance at the ongoing Africa Games where Nigeria are through to the final and after yesterday’s game they official approached his team and an agreement was reached.

Makanjuola will have his medical in Morocco with the club set to announce his signing later today to swell the number of Nigerians at the club to three with the duo of Kenneth Omeruo and Chidozie Awaziem completing the list.

The Water FC starlet has so far impressed for Nigeria at the Africa Games following up his performance at the U20 World Youth Championship in Poland where he stood out for the Nigerian team that crashed out at the round of 16.

A five year deal that will see the former Nigeria U17 player start from the B team of the club before making the step up to the first team will be made official in the coming hours.

I think that list should have been for testing new players than calling all the players that just finished playing the afcon

He should have included maja at first
lol..now U are doing what u once accused me of... "complaining" ...
Maja would have been a better addition than Iheanacho and Onuachu who are yet to kick a ball this season... but what do I know?

With ighalo retiring from international football ,super eagles couldn't have asked for a better successor

tammy case dey tough unless him get good advisers to advise him right. if we get him fine but if we don't he won't be missed one bit.

what marvels the most about the current crop of players we have is that they are still very young.

Imagine when the likes of ejaria, eze and any of uduokhai or tomori joins up? choi! the future is bright grin

The Super Eagles we saw in Egypt hardly beat any team possession wise. They play with two destroyers who are not technical enough to beat a press and Iwobi who is better running with the ball than distrustion.

You're saying this same team don't need a player who can distribute and also win possession?
Are you sure you really mean well for this team?
Other teams found it hard beating us too because of those two players. If possession does it all, Barcelona would be winning champions league every year.

You want to compare the quality of opponents in Afcon to that of the world cup?
We played same pattern in Russia and we know how far.
