Due to the doctrine of Taqqiyah, Muslims are given carte blanche to tell liés. Non Muslims are not allowed in Mecca. So who attends this church you dreamt up? jamiudinho: |

ollah2:I don't c everything thru d eyes of religion. I only responded 2 d biased, naive & myopic view of d fellow who said that he expects tolerance from d Norwegian society in terms of his religious standards when Muslim countries like Saudi don't offer such tolerance. Funny u mentioned Christianity. Christians don't carry swords to cut off peoples necks 4 not joining Christianity. Christians don't go round d world blowing up buildings, planes & public infrastructure cos people didn't accept Jesus. Pls which religion does that? Who are those who migrate to foreign lands& kill citizens of their host country in d name of religion? Is it Christianity? I wish u could answer. FYI, am not a religious person. I dont do religion. What I believe in is character, love& virtue not where u go every Sunday or Friday. It doesn't bother me. But u can't start demanding what u aren't giving. In Myanmar, its not Muslims that are being killed. Its d Rohingya ethnic group that are being killed. They aren't being killed because they are Muslims. D Rohingya crisis is more an ethnic crisis& a land crisis cos d Rohingya aren't originally from Myanmar. They are ethnically linked to Bangladesh. What's going is more of ethnic cleansing. China has antireligious laws which doesn't exempt Christianity so I don't no d religious boss u referring. D case of India is similar 2d Rohingya problem & dates back 2d preindependence era of India when India& Pakistan were one nation under British colonial rule. Hindus& Muslims slugged it out in this preindependence years& that bad blood has remained till date. In d comment u hurriedly responded to, I asked this simple question: "Is d practice of not shaking hands between d opposite sex a teaching in d Koran or its someone who just came up with d idea?" Funny enough, u avoided d question like leprosy |

aril:Pls answer d question urself and c how u will sound. When did Islam begin to exist in Norway? Is it as old as Norway? What has it got 2do with d entitlement mentality that u have were u expect a countries leaders & their culture to be subject to Islamic doctrines? |

So Because I Visit your House, does that Mandate me to Drink your alcoholic Wine you served Me Saying because That is your Norms, HELL NO, I won't because My Religion Law against it and so Shall it be, The Hadith I quote is Sound and Not What you stupidly called it, Although, I am not surprise because, Quran have taught me how your Mind is...So am not care about that, Because That is your CUSTOM |

That is religion of honour! Muslims women don't shake hands with opposite sex except those who doesn't understand Islam just like the way Queen Elizabeth don't shake hands with anyone anyhow. Our sisters are Queens, not those miniskirt church girls that are used as dancers, strippers and to dress naked in the name of miss world. Holy Mary dress from head to toe and our sister also follow her footsteps. No matter your position you can't see my wife fingers let alone shaking hands with her. If you really want to know what unclothedness and shamelessness is all about just tune in to Pastor Oyakhilome's church programme then you will know today's Christianity is anti Christ is the making. Kudos to Pastor Kumuyi for the value he placed on dressing among his followers. That's the only pastor I respect in Nigeria, the rest don't care about men shouldn't wear women attires and vice versa. They will tell you faith is isn't you heart after dressing naked as if bible that preaches decency is meant to be play with. The content of a word is the product of its environment. May God bless those who obey God commadements. |

umarshehu58:It is very highly disrespectful of anyone to do such irrespective of culture or religion. Moses law says who ever keeps nine of the laws but faults in one has defaulted in all. It is the same as anyone who will claim is living by principle or otherwise. We should all try to refrain from all manners of hypocrisy and sentiments that adds to value to self righteousness. |

MetaPhysical:.... but, I am just being honest with you. If the northerners call other Muslims kafir, does it makes them kafir? They can say whatever they wish. Allah did not appoint anyone as spokesperson to do such. |

The truth is, if the Prince was not aware of that Islamic injunction, then his advisers goofed by not telling him before hand |

Question Is it allowable for a muslim woman to greet a muslim man by shaking hands? Answer Praise be to Allaah. For a man to shake hands with a non-mahram woman (one to whom he is not related) is haraam and is not permitted at all. Among the evidence for this is the hadeeth of Ma’qal ibn Yassaar (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘If one of you were to be struck in the head with an iron needle, it would be better for him than if he were to touch a woman he is not allowed to.” (Reported by al-Tabaraani; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 5045). There is no doubt that for a man to touch a non-mahram woman is one of the causes of fitnah (turmoil, temptation), provocation of desire and committing haraam deeds. No one should say that their intention is sound or their heart is clean, because the one who was the purest of heart and the most chaste of all, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) never touched a non-mahram woman, even when accepting bay’ah (oath of allegiance) from women. He did not hold their hands when accepting their bay’ah, as he did with men; their bay’ah was by words only, as was reported by his wife ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her). She said that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) would test the believing women who emigrated to him with the aayah (interpretation of the meaning): “O Prophet! When believeing women come to you to give you the bay’ah (pledge), that they will not associate anything in worship with Allaah, that they will not steal, that they will not commit illegal sexual intercourse, that they will not kill their children, that they will not utter slander, intentionally forging falsehood (i.e., by making illegal children belong to their husbands), and that thye will not disobey you in any ma’ruf (Islamic monotheism and all that which Islam ordains), then accept their bay’ah and ask Allaah to forgive them. Verily Allaah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” [al-Mumtahinah 60:12] ‘Aa’ishah said: “So whoever of the believing women agreed to these conditions, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) would say to her: ‘I have accepted your bay’ah by words.’ By Allaah, his hand never touched the hand of any woman when accepting their bay’ah; he accepted their bay’ah by saying ‘I have accepted your bay’ah on this basis.’” (Reported by al-Bukhaari, 4512; according to another report: he accepted their bay’ah by words… the hand of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) never touched the hand of any woman except a woman he owned . Reported by al-Bukhaari, 6674). Some Muslims feel too embarrassed to refuse when a woman offers her hand to them. In addition to mixing with women, some of them claim that they are forced to shake hands with fellow-students and teachers in schools and universities, or with colleagues in the workplace, or in business meetings and so on, but this is not an acceptable excuse. The Muslim should overcome his own feelings and the promptings of the Shaytaan, and be strong in his faith, because Allaah is not ashamed of the truth. The Muslim could apologize politely and explain that the reason he does not want to shake hands is not to offend or hurt anybody’s feelings, but it is because he is following the teachings of his religion. In most cases this will earn him respect from others. There is no harm done if they find it strange at first, and it may even be a practical opportunity for da’wah. And Allaah knows best. 2459 EN Source: Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid |

I blamed the prince and the palace. So, you are going to visit a community of immigrants without having a knowledge of their culture. It's a known fact you avoid physical contact with islam-practicing women especially from the middle-east. It's the prince that choose to disrespect their custom, not the other way round. That they reside in Norway does not mean that the women act Norwegian. |
