Good one. However, the major business challenge that the Nigerian youths face is power. Even for an online entrepreneur, you need power for your mobile and or laptop. Irrespective of the business case, power is key. Look at a hair salon, tailoring shop, ecommerce, graphic design, web design, foot wear manufacture, et al. The main areas of focus should be both entrepreneurs and power (generation, transmission and distribution) 3 Likes |

Good one sir. Entrepreneurship accounts for 95% of businesses, 70% of employment and over 50% of national GDP in Nigeria. Give us sustainable power supply and favourable economic policies and watch Nigeria's economy boom like never before. 2 Likes |

Elumelu is just a pure thief disguising as a philanthropist. So, if they want to invest the 5% it should be through your foundation? SME who operates account at your bank, how many of them are able to access loan? What is the advantage of killing upcoming business and starting fresh ones? Why can't you fight for sustainability of business instead of thinking of embezzling through your dead foundation? In a sane clime Elumelu should be in jail. He should state how many businesses he is helping to stay aloft and how many businesses started by his fraudulent foundation is still existing. He will soon be dealt with 4 Likes 1 Share |

Lol, Elumelu's stance on development is more important than giving money directly to African leaders or Country Directors of Foreign missions who happen to be Nigerians to spend. Most of these monies get embezzled and returned to private unproductive pockets. Japan should utilize Elumelu's model of development in Africa and invest 50% of their said pledge in that manner. 1 Like |

Na lie. Elumelu is only widening his own base considering that he has the foundation for Entrepreneurship development which he also makes something from. Why must we be a pauper and begging every country for support when we have enough at home that is being embezzled. If only we can value ourselves we don't need to be beggers to get things not done because with all we've been receiving before, where is the result, it's just for survival and not value creation. |

Mayflowa: My brother I am not talking about development. Am talking on our stylish ways we keep using to borrow money. Our debt profile is high with little to show for it. Who do you think suffers it. Bubu have lived his life and secured a better life for his children. If he and his likes dies now they won't die wrongfully, its me and you (unless you are related to one of them) and the future that would suffer it. |

Buliwyf: Won't blame you, your parent never did a good job: “If we invested just 5% in Africa’s new generation of entrepreneurs, following my Foundation’s robust, proven model of getting capital directly to those best placed to catalyse growth and create real impact, we could touch 500,000 lives, across the 54 African countries, broadening markets, facilitating job creation, improving income per capita, and laying the key foundation for political and economic stability,” Elumelu said. |

oldtruth: Look at the sad clown whose parents are obvious failures and couldnt avoid perpetuating their failures by birthing him. How is following his foundations proven robust model and giving the money directly to those who need it the same as using his foundation? Keep making a fool of your family online. Like I said hunger and frustration has eaten your brain. Mind you, there is a reason why he was invited to speak at such an occasion and a nonentity like you will never be. He is already considered and respected as a stake holder and he was telling every potential angel investors and venture capitalists there the best model to invest in Africa. So keep being frustrated.
