Joe Abah lost me when he compared the number of people entering lagos via the airport to those using road transport, you are required when boarding a plane to provide your passport number or some means of identification, you can be traced, this is not the case for those who were intercepted in the truck, there is no visible means of identification, so it becomes a security issue.

As far as we are in the same country I do not see anything wrong with coming to lagos like a cattle. If we don't want them in the SW or anywhere outside the North let us sing the song of restructuring with one voice. Then we can document anybody coming outside our regions and keep an eye on them. It smacks of hypocrisy when we shout one Nigeria easily and frown when Nigerians want to live their life as one Nigerian. I can only condemn if they are undocumented Chad Ian or Nigeriens.

Any person trying to come into any space through the airways will not move without a thorough checking and profiling at both the points of entry and exits; not to talk of a number of people of such magnitude.
If any group of terrorists, whether Fulani or not, try to enter through the airspace of any serious country or state and they are recognized as such; of course, they would not only be treated similar way, they would be decimated instantly. That is how serious security issue is all over the world.

We have people from Niger republic, Mali, Chad riding Okada allover naija just because they can speak Hausa or fulani and more worrisome because Nigeria does not have a central database to determine who is a citizen and who is not.

We've been hearing news on how foreigners are causing mayhem all over the middlebelt region. We don't want that down south. People want to sound political correct until chaos starts in their neighborhood.

We have a porous border and we can't let unverified/undocumented people move around our neighborhood. Most, if not all the bike riders sleep on their bikes at night or at empty shops. Having too many of them around doesn't seem safe to me. E no dey hard for terrorism to spread ọ.

Personally i feel Lagos state government should Ban most biker riders because of safety in Lagos.

How can you compare a former federal capital territory with a state? Or don't you know that Lagos was shaped as it is because of the spendings by both federal government and the private sector due to its old federal capital status?

That's why you have people of all sorts flock down there due to its former federal capital status which has already become a norm.

If you say it's because of the sea ports; the South-South (Port Harcourt, Warri and Calabar) could have been in the same level or status. But that isn't so because they aren't accorded a federal capital status and as a result, you have little or slow development in terms of infrastructure and human capital.

Stop bragging about Lagos when you and I know that it was built by the wealth generated from other regions of the country most especially South-South (Crude Oil).

The drive to do that started with fashola. He tried but citizens logged into their social media and bad mouthed his attempt and he backed off.

I dont think okada has any impact on fashola. The people that will directly bear the good or bad of okada stories told him not to ban it so he listened and left it alone. I dont blame him. People must suffer the atrocities associated with okada enough so when another administration makes attempt it will get widespread support.

In the north about 5 okada just pull up in middle of people and start shooting and get high casulaty. We are not seeing that yet....and i hope we never do in South. But we wont say govt was not proactive to ban it before it happened.
