You guys should beware.

I wouldn't want Chuks following Iheanacho's current career trajectory.

He was pocketed today because he is a very predictable player and apparently hasn't learned anything from his Algeria match at AFCON. Please tone down on the hype. The guy is average at best for now. All this hype should instead be heaped on Ndidi; the only sunshine I see in the dark clouds that is the current SE squad.

If Chuks like, let him allow village people destroy his career like they are doing to KC now. He better settle down and buckle up.

I remain the ever realistic darkelf.

NB: Insults will be ignored. If you can't argue intelligently, just go ahead and waste your smelling saliva.
I get this feelings say you no like naija players

But I can't judge you sha

Oga Calm down. you don't expect a 20 yr old player starting his first full season to be consistent, do you? He will have average games once and a while and look lost too. Ronaldo and Messi at his age where not very consistent at that age too, but they became world beaters after. NB, I'm not comparing him to those two legends.

He's still learning, and he has an opportunity to learn a lot under less Pressure in a small club like Villareal.

my mind just knew that someone will come here and post trash about how bad Chuwks is, just because he was subbed early, and I wasn't dissapointed.

From the match, that Villareal coach is obviously tactically better than Zidane. whoever are those players that he brought in for Chukwueze and Ekanbi really destabilised Madrid.

My brother the post surprise me no be small. Chuks have a goal and assist already this season so I see no reason for the rant.

Mendy is a very good and physical left back and pocketed Chuks but the same happens and have happened to bigger names in world football.

Chuks is just 20 and in his 2nd season of top flight football so there is still room for improvement.

He is immersely talented but not the finish product yet

Tho the whole team weren't that good

But chuks was so out of ideas. Him loss for mendy pocket ...

Exactly what happened at the afcon
He did well at Afcon, except the Algeria game.

As for Mendy, it's a loose loose situation for both Mendy and Chuwks. Chukwueze couldn't get past Mendy, yet Mendy couldn't contribute to the attack, cos he was busy man marking Chukwueze.

Suse, bring out where I have ever criticized Ndidi??

You know why?? Because the guy has proven time and again that he is reliable, although he still has a lot to learn.

Even though he conceded that foul against Algeria, I knew it happens to the best of them.

But you see, Chukwueze just had a bit of a breakout season (last year) and already people are calling him Robben. What a Travesty!!! He needs at least 3 top quality seasons of World class football to near Robben (and I'm been too kind)

The Spanish media called him the new robben first not because he is as good as robben but have the same playing style as the Dutch legend.

Chukwueze so far is on the right path and for a rookie to perform well in his first season in professional football in the world's best league as he did last term he deserves the hype.

Vinicius jnr and rodrygo of Madrid have done nothing to deserve the hype they get world wide.

Not only that he debuted in a top competition like the afcon and did pretty well.

Like i said the potentials are there but he is not the finish product yet

I wouldn't want Chuks following Iheanacho's current career trajectory.

He was pocketed today because he is a very predictable player and apparently hasn't learned anything from his Algeria match at AFCON. Please tone down on the hype. The guy is average at best for now. All this hype should instead be heaped on Ndidi; the only sunshine I see in the dark clouds that is the current SE squad.

If Chuks like, let him allow village people destroy his career like they are doing to KC now. He better settle down and buckle up.

When you are new to the league you are an unknown quantity that makes you UNPREDICTABLE. You can initially use this to gain advantage in the short term.

Everyone now knows Chukwueze defenders will study his entire video footage of last season

He now has to up his game and add more to his game to compete.

Extract from Solace's Goal Article on Samuel Chukwueze

Title: Chukwueze needs more bow-strings for La Liga second act
Source: Goal.

Arjen Robben, the Dutch great on whom much of Chukwueze’s game is modelled, was famously one-footed, but retained his effectiveness regardless. The key, it would appear, is to underpin the predictable with the unpredictable – you knew what was coming, but you did not know when it would come – and also vary it enough to hint at something different.

In Robben’s own words to the Daily Mail earlier this year: “If you do it at the right time, it still surprises.

“Doing the same thing over and over again without variation will not work. If you never pass or dribble or go on the outside, cutting inside will stop working."

It is a lesson Chukwueze would do well to learn as he continues to build his legend. Where last season he had the benefit of being something of an unknown quantity, this term will throw up a more informed set of obstacles in his path.

My take: Chuks will learn to vary his game. There is no escaping that if he is going to be truly great and evolve into a super world class act. That is just what he needs to master as he keeps growing. Like The Great Robben said in other words... "If you execute your trademark moves at the right time, it still surprises. Unpredictability in the timings of execution of every skill move is the key."

Chukwueze will only get better. wink
