Good evening, were you asked to put down your account number?

Its meant for reimbursement of transport money, according to the last recruitment thread I read, once the money is sent it means recruitment is over

I don't actually know why people refused to talk about the interview, because the panel did not tell me anything of such (probably they already know they will be recruited that's why they told them not to inform others about the interview)

As regards what the interview entails, its just the normal interview proper;

1 - Introduce yourself

2 - Questions as regards WAEC, which I think they ask at random, no actual question, any question can be asked as regard WAEC.

3 - Question as regard your field of study or the position you are applying for. (Meaning one must be a bit vast in the field you are applying for)

I hope this help someone going for interview tomorrow and please let's share information with each other, what is meant for one won't pass him or her.

Thank u sir!
Like how many minutes per candidate?

we are through with the interview. First you are asked to sit in a waiting room from where you will be called out for accreditation whereby your credentials will be checked. Much emphasis will be given to your date of birth (whether you have the original birth certificate and if the date is the same on all documents ).After the accreditation, each candidate is led to the interview room where he/she will first be asked questions based on knowledge about WAEC before a an interviewer will ask you questions based on the course you studied in school. The interview is about 5minutes.present at the interview room were both the chairman and the registrar.

I was also asked 4 questions on Economics as I applied for AR2 Economics. At the end of the interview I was asked if I have a question for thme which I did

Furthermore we were 9 invited for AR2 Economics of which one who was not present was called but was asking for reschedule to which they said was not possible. Moreover, the candidates are arranged to enter the interview room in order of their performance in the test. So we have first candidate, second candidate ,....Also on the issue of how many persons will be taken in each position ,we were told it will be only one per post. On pay,I gathered that the pay is up to 400k.

O my bad! I forgot to mention that during accreditation, we were given an ms access file on a laptop where the headings have already been created to fill in our information i.e. your name ,age, phone number etc .it's just like filling an attendance register

Nawaoo, one person per Subject and they shortlisted thousands for aptitude test and hundreds for interview. You need one person per subject and 25 persons in the whole Federation and you made people to travel from different parts of the country for a test. I am not saying that organizing an open recruitment is bad, but considering Nigerian factor, it is obvious that the Ogas and top Politicians will certainly bring their candidates. Since it is not up to one person per State, tell me how an ordinary Nigerian will get a slot. Before you tell me about integrity in WAEC recruitment, remember we have heard such in organizations like DPR in their last recruitment and we all saw what happened. Where people that neither applied nor participated in the test let alone interview were given appointment letters. Success! success!! success!!!

I'm inclined to trust this particular process. Its going to be largely free and fair. I was not invited but a few friends were and I'm optimistic

. We are on the same page Sir, but my point of departure is on the issue of making people to travel from Kaduna, Portharcourt, Zamfara etc to Lagos when it is obvious that only 25 persons are needed nationwide. I didnt travel outside my State of residence for the test, but I have friends who left their jobs, their businesses, paid for a hotel accommodation for two days, at the end of the day only to realize that the slots are not up to one person per State. If they had known that their propensity to succeed in the long run is less than 0.5 due to the few number of candidates needed, some of them would have reconsidered the option of taking such risks.

WAEC is a good organisation. Many are not aware. Their conditions of service is superb, one of which is regular promotion so far there are no disciplinary issues. Their working hours is flexible as well. They close 3PM.

brother in case you don't know, the AR2 position is an international position not a national one. Although the current registrar is Nigerian, the chairman and other members of the interview panel were from other African countries. From what I saw, the chances of politicians influencing the process is slim.invitation is based on test score. In fact, for garment making only one candidate had an acceptable test score so only she was invited. From the language used after her interview, she is sure of getting the job.

Quite juicy!

It should have been at least 5 persons per position / subject.

I was in the interview as well.

In addition, they asked the name of at least four of their staff.

Some of the questions may come from what you've answered. Just be brief and keep to the point. It is not a place to show super knowledge.

Some of the questions can be very easy but may be confusing/embarrassing. E.g.. Four things you can do to protect the computer you are using in the office.

Good luck to those remaining. Just be confident.

Hoarding information is detrimental and it doesn't help anybody.

Anything question on wat s on your CV?

Your CV is like the first part because you will be asked to briefly introduce yourself, which means you will be saying something from your CV. This will be asked by the Chairman. After which other panellists will start asking their funny questions. You can imagine being asked the full meaning of WAEC. It may sound easy but if you mistakenly say Africa instead of African you will be answering wrongly.
