Aidejay:I love listening to music. I love good music, I mean who doesn't? My taste in music is so weird and random, I literary listen to all kinds of music, it's so funny and weird that my late-night-cool music playlist contains Mozart, Bach, John Legend, ASAP Rocky, Jay Z, Udu Bonche, Umu Obiligbo and some other Igbo/Yoruba high life and ogene music lmao. That's how crazy my taste in music is. But to answer your question, this city has greatly influenced my choice of music, I mean I've always loved classical music (back in Nigeria, I listened to Mozart, Vilvaldi, Bach and Beethoven) But since I moved here, I've discovered other great artists Tchaikovsky, Borodin and other great Russian composers. I've fallen in love with Russian music and literature and sadly, I've had a really stressful week so I'm unable to write a lengthy post about Russian music and literatue. If I forced myself to write it for your sake, it would be mediocre and that would ruin it for you and I do not want that for you. I honestly feel like some parts of this historical city can't be shown or written about alone. It has to be lived and experienced and its music culture and literature are one of them. I also honestly prefer discussing literature and music in person, over a glass of montepulciano d'abruzzo or any home made Russian or French wine. So Bro, whenever I'm in Nigeria, I'll reach out to you and we'll hangout and discuss Russian music and literature. But one thing you have to know is that, classical music feels so good and different when you listen to it in places like inside the historical hermitage museum while perusing fine art or at home in an old Russian-Soviet styled apartment with lovely mosaic designs. As some people may say 'That shit slaps different" hahahaah Whew! I've had a really stressful week and it's about to get even worse cos school resumes on Monday. Spent my entire evening editing videos at this coffee shop. Second picture, was taken on my way to the center to shoot interviews. Both pics taken were taken with my phone.

SaintHilary:Can you gimme your email add, I'm also planning on this..maybe we can pull resources together? |
| Re: Diary Of A Nigeria Student Living In Saint Petersburg, Russia. by TochiPhotos(op): 10:57pm On Aug 30, 2019 |
SaintHilary:Yes, if your course is in Russian language you obviously have to do the preparatory year first. You have to get admission to Bachelors or Masters first to enable you continue after the preparatory program. If you didn't get admission first and only came for preparatory year program, after the program, you'll need to return to Nigeria and re apply again for full time study visa. I hope this is clear. Please search for the dedicated Russian student visa thread or check out my previous posts for a comprehensive guide on how to apply for Russian student visa. |

kelvinUchiha:You'll need to submit these documents when applying for visa not to your university. I got my police character report from Alagbon in Lagos. You can get it in Abuja too. Insurance is compulsory too and it was from IGI in VI Lagos. Flight reservation isn't a must but I submitted one when I applied ( I simply wet to the emirates office near the Russian embassy in Abuja and got a flight reservation for free. |
