Don't know.
Something about this guy just doesn't seem to fit as a governor.
He always appears as a man just so overjoyed to be called a governor,he just does anything he is told and goes anywhere he would be photographed.
Just the way he comes across to me though.
Looks like a clown on the seat

The church should not be doing the government’s basic job...
Have no idea what Freeze said, but if it’s along those lines I concur!
>
That’s exactly the problem..the government not doing their job...
when the people now turn to the church instead of the government, freeze will start to claim the church is scamming the people... once the government do their job... church will naturally enter its role...which is a moral compass for the people.... not a place to pray for miracle money, pray for road, pray for light....

if the Church scout for a need in the environment, we can't stop them from addressing it. I feel, development is beyond the government doing everything. Individuals can also help where necessary.

They won’t be doing all these if Daddy freeze didn’t start the movement beside several thousands of Nigerians are not paying churches anymore and more people are waking up everyday,so churches have to start Something like this to appease people

Shameless governor. When last did the state build any form of health facility? How well do they equip the ones on ground? Go to a state health center, you'll be asked to provide everything including syringes even drips. People in government get irresponsible by the day because nobody calls them to order

Freeze is a sadist like I used to be.

I love what the Church is doing in Africa. I hope to personally build a Police Station, Skills acquisition center and hospitals in my community and freely donate it to government
By the way, What are all the mosques doing in Africa?
Infact, what help has any Arab nation rendered to Nigeria/ Africa and the world as a whole that make some pple want to die and kill others for their devilish religion?

Good move from the church and also the government.
I do feel every religious group need a sense of community responsibility.
It goes more than Sunday services and revivals.

Nothing is wrong with giving back to the society. The government can't do everything.
If you are rich and you can supply your community with a solar borehole or tar your streets, do it, people who benefit from such will never forget you.
Prostrate to a dwarf can never retard your growth.

CGMedia:
Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday commissioned a School Building and rehabilitated Health Centre built by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV reports that the structures were donated to the Lagos state government by the RCCG Tabernacle of David, Lagos Province 46, as part of the church’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Speaking at the unveiling of the buildings, Sanwo-Olu said: “My administration is not going to walk away from its responsibility of catering for the educational needs of every child that is of school age. We will give our children the opportunity to attend quality schools that will not be too far away from them.”

Igbere TV reports that the governor said the state government would be hiring trained teachers to strengthen quality education all state-owned schools in Lagos.

He said his administration would spare no effort to expand quality teaching to pupils, disclosing that he had issued a directive to the Ministry of Education to recruit trained teaching personnel and provide vital resources that would strengthen quality education across all government’s schools.

“This morning, I gave a directive to the Commissioner for Education that all schools owned by the state government be equipped with well-trained teachers that will help us to deliver quality training to our children in line with development agenda of my administration.

“The charge to the Commissioner also involves the provision of basic resources that would strengthen our schools and empower them to deliver the desired results we envisage in education and manpower development.”

The Governor said his administration would remain open to corporate organisations, non-governmental organisations (NGO) and religious institutions for partnership that would be beneficial to all residents of the state.

He reiterated that the government under his leadership would not shirk its responsibility in providing necessary amenities to the citizens.

Sanwo-Olu praised RCCG for the intervention, which he described as a “progressive doctrine” from a religious institution. The Governor urged other religious bodies to take a cue from the RCCG’s intervention, stressing that government would make greater impacts with collaborations.

The Assistant Pastor in charge of Province 46 of the RCCG, Kayode Pitan, noted that the decision to embark on the projects was in response to dearth of basic education and healthcare facilities in the area.

He disclosed that the two projects gulped N180 million, pointing out that school, which has 12 blocks of classroom, was completed with N130 million; the church spent N50 million to rehabilitate and upgrade the services of the Primary Health Centre.

“The projects are part of the CSR of the Redeemed Christian Church of God to touch people’s lives by improving standard of living in our host communities, providing quality education and health in collaboration with the government. This is aimed at improving the physical and spiritual wellbeing within our host communities,” Pastor Pitan said.

Earlier, Governor Sanwo-Olu commissioned Eti-Osa Maternal and Child Centre, the eighth of its kind in the state, as residents trooped out to welcome him and members of his cabinet to the occasion.

Sanwo-Olu said the provision of the secondary health facility in Eti-Osa axis would reduce pressure on the Lagos Island General Hospital and save expectant mothers living in Ajah axis of the pain to travel a long distance for antenatal and post-natal care.

The Governor granted residents’ demand requesting the state government to build a General Hospital to complement the services of the maternity home, promising that the facility would be built close to the maternity home for efficient healthcare delivery.
