The Xenophobic attack on-going in South Africa is not a thing of joy for someone to smile, joke or make jest of, as a citizen of this great country, we condemned this act as inhuman and as a crime against humanity especially towards Africans.

Nigerians decided to do a reprisal of the Xenophobic act being meted by South Africans against Nigerians by storming the popular Shoprite Mall at Lekki. In what started as a protest led to looting of shops, malls, and goods worth millions of naira. A shop, for example, was ransacked and all the goods in that shop were looted.

In order to curtail further breakdown of law and orders and to protect other stores from being broken into, the Lagos Police officers led by RRS Commander, DCP Tunji Disu take control of security at Shoprite, Lekki.

It was reported in the media that a protester lost his life during the protest yesterday.

That store must be looted......

South Africa has failed as a nation, and the Nigerian government, as usual, has failed its people.

But these ones looting ShopRite don't have sense. Why must you go and loot from your fellow citizens? Those stores, except DSTV probably, are mostly owned by Nigerians.
If you must loot, enter the main shopping area itself and leave the surrounding stores.

This is no longer a case of retaliation on SA for those demonic attacks, but just a chance for crazy people to rob their own brothers and sisters.

Had Abacha still been in power, SA for don hear am. He was a bad man but he had his use in some issues.

We,Nigerians should know one thing...these sOuth African Companies here in Nigeria have shareholders which if am not mistaken are all Nigerians just like "Dangote Group of Companies" which so many people have shares in.

Destroying or looting these companies ain't adding up at all... These South Africans are even happy that we are doing that.. **That we are robbing Peter to pay Paul**

Those south Africans no get any job and they are not even ready to work..

My advice is this... Let's just not destroy each others properties that are in the mall thinking that we are harming the South Africans...we are harming ourselves indirectly.

Let's just pressurize the Nigerian government to take a stand in this issue.

when Nigerian hate themselves, how do you expect others to accept and respect you.

attacking shoprite is not the answer it would hurt Nigerian more as there are no south africans working in shoprite , rather it would lead to job loss, the employment our government has failed to provide
