Man City don't have any rights to any profit made from Iheanacho's sale

Their only part in the contract is activating the 50m buy back clause or not
Exactly. It's either they activated it or they don't.
Clause is simple and straightforward. I don't know what goodjoe is debating about.

He's insinuating that Leicester have no right to sell Iheanacho above 50million

I've never heard of that

A player that doesnt get game time doesnt get to show what he can do and so it does have everything to do with the 50m buy back clause. If you ask me, Iheanacho's career is a business transaction. Plain and simple. Even though he gonna be smiling to the bank, he aint gonna get the chance to show what he can do. I am just hoping this contract ends soon enough.
Its time people advised our young players to steer clear big clubs so they dont end up in problems
The 50m clause will not stop him from moving.
Nacho isn't getting game time because he hasn't been good enough. You people keep forgetting Leicester spent 25m on him which was a big deal for them 2 years ago.
Nacho wants to move, he will move. His agent can push for a move. City will wave that clause because as it is, even Leicester won't make a profit from the 25m they paid for him

That's madness. City can stop by activating the clause or Leicester will sell for as much as possible.
This is obvious from the Hermoso example I gave.

You clearly did not read the article you posted. Try reading it than flooding the thread with misconceptions.

No other club except the selling club can pay the fee agreed while negotiating and in maximum cases, the player would have to go back to the parent club when they call for him. The player does not have a say in it and is powerless.

“I know I am going in the right direction,” he says. “I am happy just to be playing football and to see where that takes me. I always try to see the bigger picture, and to stay patient. I am not one who wants everything immediately. I am happy to take smaller steps on the way to the bigger goals.

Moses
Chukwueze
Samuel Kalu
Onyekuru
Musa

The last thing we need now is another winger
Musa is out

And are we close to 2022 World cup? All we have to pray is that Eze continues with his current form and watch what happens in the future.

The earlier the better. Simple. Integrate the guy before 2022 WC.

He is a winger and he is a striker so no issues

This is not a tournament but a friendly to test players

So there is nothing wrong in him being invited

Ok somebody else said it

kennysville:
You are looking at it from a different angle. Lemme paint it for ya. A club approaches leicester to buy iheanacho, if the deal is in the excess of 50 mil, say 80mil. Leicester is obliged to notify City. If that happenes, the maximum that leicester can get from it is 50mil and no more. What happens after that is immaterial. If city dont need him, they will sell him @ the 80mil, this pocketing extra 30mil, recouping their money from the buy back clause. Hope u got the picture?

Just as an example

Yes they do. It was after 5 years and e never reach. This was the same thing with Morata at juventus you do have to pay till it's time.

Thank God for the first time, someone is not pinning it all on Rohr. because for crying out loud, this guy has done his best in terms of this aspect I inviting our best foreign born. He can't see everything and that is where the assistants should become in, and even the NFF Technical committee.
Those are all useless and they are only after where the next bribe will come from
Nice one.

Now you see why Amaju doesn't want a Local Coach in the helm of affairs.

They have small brains for football and large brains for bribery and extortion.

I'm hoping FIFA gives another local coach a life ban. Nonsense

For the African tournament, he will have to depend mostly on local players.

If the player is stuck in the third division of portugal, he is probably not that good.
I don't think people know how poor and limited quality is available in the 2nd and 3rd tiers of most European football leagues.

A few years ago l was at Cadiz in Spain with a Nigerian origin player. But l was shocked at the peanuts they were paying. It was actually better for him play 2nd Division.

Have said it before and still maintain my stand, our local coaches re myopic, selfish and corrupt. All they care about is their personal gains at the detriment of the growth and stability of super eagles team and our youth sides.

I will never support nor clamor for the hiring of any of them until they repent from thier dubious and selfish ways.

If not for anything now players re invited to the super eagles on merit after proper monitoring and scouting which spurs the plays to work hard at their respective clubs in Europe. Foreign born players deemed good enough are approached and the ones that re willing re integrated to the team immediately.

The work done so far by Rohr and the nff will yield fruits in few years to come. The team qualifying for the world cup with ease and making it to the semi finals of the afcon after missing back to back editions is a testament that super eagles is on the right path and as well attractive once again

TheGoodJoe:
Story. Is Daniel James physical? Did he not flourish in the Championship? Continue arguing what you do not know. Nacho has an impeccable history. His Preseason showed the fire is still there. Given a run in a fluid offensive system, he will flourish. All Nacho needs is the right amount of games in the right system and he will not fail.

Talking like if all the teams in the Championship are mechanics.

Norwich and Sheffield are playing okay without being physical and these are teams that did well in the championship.
Daniel James is a forward player that plays on the wing. His main attribute Blistering pace. That's not an attribute that KC has.

I have often said that because of the very physical and intense nature of the Championship. That if you can play technical based skilful football there you will find it easier to thrive in the EPL.

Many of you said I waa talking rubbish
.

How many goals did Daniel score in his entire career in the championship and how many has he now scored in the EPL. I rest my case.

And if he had an outstanding pre season why is he still on the bench or not even making the bench.
