Isn't that what we've been saying all along? How can you say the clause is what is stopping Nacho from moving?
Er.... and move to where? Be honest , how much will his bid be? Person wen dem nor give game time. And you think leicester have finished with him abi? Where is the returns in their investment? My friend, business is not done that way. 25million investment with less than 600mins of soccer in 2years? In it all, Leicester is the one losing. No one is exactly gonna table a 60million pound bid for Iheanacho. You and I know thats not gonna happen. Hence the buy out clause is the problem. It all should make sense why Iheanacho is comfortable with the current scenario. He is smiling to the bank. Shikena!

At the end of it all, by the end of his contract, if he doesnt come good and strong, his value will be in like 8mil which I am soooo sure Man city will pass up on.

With Chelsea and Man Utd looking very average this year. I suspect Leicester or Everton might sneak into the top 4.

Have said it before and still maintain my stand, our local coaches re myopic, selfish and corrupt. All they care about is their personal gains at the detriment of the growth and stability of super eagles team and our youth sides.

I will never support nor clamor for the hiring of any of them until they repent from thier dubious and selfish ways.

If not for anything now players re invited to the super eagles on merit after proper monitoring and scouting which spurs the plays to work hard at their respective clubs in Europe. Foreign born players deemed good enough are approached and the ones that re willing re integrated to the team immediately.

The work done so far by Rohr and the nff will yield fruits in few years to come. The team qualifying for the world cup with ease and making it to the semi finals of the afcon after missing back to back editions is a testament that super eagles is on the right path and as well attractive once again
In terms of achievement, he has not achieved anything our local coaches have not achieved, so hooosh with your praises of Rohr.

we won't drop the praises...
indigenous coaches are just too corrupt to b trusted....

he has done well.... He has helped rebrand the super eagles and that is a plus...

he is more transparent and more fair in players selection unlike the indigenous coaches who only invite players willing to grease their palms...little wonder they keep hovering over the national team job not because of anything else but for kick backs and bribe that comes with the job role.....

You clearly did not read the article you posted. Try reading it than flooding the thread with misconceptions.

No other club except the selling club can pay the fee agreed while negotiating and in maximum cases, the player would have to go back to the parent club when they call for him. The player does not have a say in it and is powerless.
Nacho can push for a move if he wants!! Man City Will wave that clause. Stop with all these excuses already!!

The buy out clause is irrelevant. It was just put there just to be safe.
City will wave that clause when the time come. Leicester are the ones that hold the key. Anyone using that clause as an excuse is not being truthful. Do you know how many times buy out clauses have been waved aside? Abegi.

Then, he blesses us with drab display on the pitch.

Until he can achieve what his local predecessors has failed to achieve, he deserves no elevation above them.

What is the bases for your argument. Achieved far more? Are you kidding me! Far more than who? Which foundation? Let's just say he is lucky that Nigerian players plying their trade overseas are balling right now. As much as i don't support the act of taking bribes, but these foreign coaches get paid at least twice their local counterparts, woe betide him if he doesn't deliver. Do you know how many times Nigeria has claimed third place at the nations cup? Which kind foundation, was he the one that groomed those kids. How do you even lose to Madagascar? And don't even tell me he used the second team cos that's a lie. Nigeria can do better than Rohr. Since Nff does not want to pay him 1 million dollars for dismissal, we will see where he steers this ship to. Rohr has a lot to learn has a coach, the guy can be completely clueless in the heat of the moment. Abi him dey pay you for publicity ni?

Which drab display are u talking about? The same local coaches who left the super eagles in a state of dismay? Which success are you talking about?

The same success that made a certain coach hold us on hostage just because he was fortunate to win the afcon? Abi na the one wey fifa just banned for life?

Why the rant? Rohr has groomed and provided an enabling environment for most of our youngsters to thrive in Europe

Most of the team has benefitted in one way or another from him through club connections, personal help or even career help, and many of them are under 23!

Where was the team Keshi used to win the Afcon? Vanished. Rohr is building a SE team of the next 10 years but most of you are accustomed to instant gratification so you don't see anything

As per players selection, can you mention 5 players who were performing very well at club level but were ignored by Keshi during his reign??

Rohr has these records for the SE

Most foreign born call ups

Youngest Nigerian team to a tournament - World cup and Afcon 2019

Only coach to assemble two YOUNG decent players for each position

Rohr is basically making sure that the SE is set for the next 10 years. But he is not winning AFCON with 35 year olds playing in obscure leagues he has done nothing to you
