Nonsense! Stop sobbing bro lolz. Rohr is doing a great job which is why the nff retained him. If that is not OK by u then go resurrect keshi or beg fifa to pardon siasia so they can apply for super eagles job again. Sentimental bullshit! junnyjake: |

Earthquake1:The problem is that most of you do not pay attention and miss the point. I have hammered it like a drum repeatedly. I want Nacho to work with Brendan Rodgers to improve as a player. It is not about playing time. I have said it over and over again. I want Nacho training under high intensity, week in week out. That is why I preferred Nacho in Leicester City camp than the AFCON. After improving, he can seek playing time. If he gets the chance at Leicester City or else where. “It’s been a fantastic pre-season. The players have worked ever so hard. I take my hat off to them, we’ve really pushed them to the limit in aspects of their fitness and tactical ideas but over the course of pre- season they’ve got their rewards and we’ve played a very good team and finished off with a very good win.".... Brendan Rodgers on Leicester City's preseason preparations. The bolded is what I wanted for Nacho. That is why you can see me say he can make a move now. I hope he gets a run or a move to an offensive side to show what he has learnt. Unfortunately, I can write this a thousand times and lots of you will still not get it. Then write what you stated above. |

And after the world cup what happened? Don't you know scouts from club all over the world monitor players in competitions as huge as the world cup for recommendation to the various clubs they represent. Why didn't any recommend Babatunde the new jj to clubs from decent leagues instead he ran to a 2nd tier club in qatar of all places ![]() Now he is currently in morroco. Abeg I knw follow una dey hype mediocrity TheGoodJoe: |

charlesemeka85:After the World Cup, Keshi was in a repeated battle with the Nff and guess what, he gave Aluko a nod that period. It was not about just recommendation but Keshi was spot on tactically with Babatunde. That was a big part of Keshi. He makes magic out of the ordinary. I can just imagine what would have happened if he had all these young players we have now. Forget about the talk of hyping mediocrity you are saying. Babatunde was absolutely brilliant for us and at that time was a master stroke by Keshi whether you like it or not. For you to argue shows you did not even watch him. Read the thread and see the remarks of different Nigerians from different parts of the Globe. They all can not be blind together. |

Which solely signifies that you are racist and sentimental as well. Do you know how much I wanted keshi to take over the super eagles coaching job after lagerback left? I'm not the type who is blinded by mere sentiment but a blunt fellow who hint of the truth always and say things the way they are. Keshi was a fraud hooooooha! junnyjake: |

junnyjake:I just stated not too long that under Brendan Rodgers, who plays a system that suits Nacho, Nacho has not gotten good playing time to prove himself. The few minutes he got, Nacho proved himself. Now read what you wrote. Na wa. |

charlesemeka85:Keshi was no fraud. He delivered for us despite the challenges he faced from the NFF. Being owed salaries for months while his pretty wife was fighting for her life. Yet he turned out regularly, scouting and training young men to be better for their country. The man was a true hero and in his words, "You talk of Super Eagles. I am Super Eagles." Respect the greats. |

And what was the cause of the cold war between the 2 parties? How many times was keshi called to order by the football house because of his over reliance on junks at the expensed of more deserving players doing well in Europe week in week out? What is your excuse for taking a Gabriel reuben who couldn't make the team of Scottish side Kilmarnock all season long but made it to the world cup? What is your excuse for taking a Heereveen B player in by he person of nwofor to the world cup when we had an Obafemi Martins and Ike Uche doing well in LA Liga then? What is your excuse for taking an Uzoenyi who couldn't cut it in France and returned to the local league at the expense of Sone aluko who was doing very well for Hull in the championship? What is your excuse for ignoring Taiye taiwo who was our best left back in Europe then and doing very well in the colors of Ukraine giants dynamo Moscow at the expense of oshaniwa? What about the case of Uchebo and young dynamite then Imoh who scored for fun in the same Belgian league where the former flopped all season? Even Imoh was playing for a more reputable and respected team in Belgian football which is standard liege while Uchebo flopped in lowly rated cercle brugge at the same season prior to the world cup Make una forget this topic abeg. I consider Velverde tactless cos he allowed the same fate befall him in 2 successive champions league seasons against Roma and against Liverpool. When a solid team is playing at home, their will could surmount the superior talent of their opponents.Their are numerous instances of this. What did stoke have a reputation for? The fact that a promising/solid Turkish side beat France at home is not an excuse, it's the reality, it's a possibility. Teams play a lot better at home. But the world cup is a neutral Turf. Another good example of the will teams can muster at home was the performance Russia posted at home in the 2018 world cup. They made it through to the quarter-finals, losing narrowly to croatia an eventual finalist. Plus Kante didn't play against Turkey. On your last point, i was mistaken, i am taking it back- They were the first to qualify, but they finished 6 points behind Senegal in the end- that was what i looked at. And you don't have to believe anything i say even if i am right once, each argument should correspond with it's own analysis. charlesemeka85: |

TheGoodJoe:You said last season 'he will excel in Rodgers system' and brought out quotes why Rodgers is the best coach in the whole world This season you are still bringing out quotes to justify why he can't even make matchday squad. Maybe Rodgers doesn't want him to excel in his system ![]() |

charlesemeka85:Yeah, I'm racist for refusing to take less than I deserve. Keshi was a fraud right? Well he's achieved what your white lord has failed to achieve throughout his career on the continent. |

charlesemeka85:The excuse is why an unknown Aaron Samuel became the toast of the media after being tagged chinko product earlier. The excuse was how he used an unknown Mba to become the toast of the media after he was influential in us carrying the Afcon after years of a drought. The same Uzoenyi was by miles the best player at the CHAN. The excuse was how he took a Shola Ameobi rottening on the bench in Newcastle to pull off a man of the match performance against Italy. The excuse was taking a young Omeruo to become one of the best defenders at the Afcon. The excuse was how he took a so called mediocre Egwueke to play as a single defender to shield the back while we went on an all out attack on South Africa and Egwueke delivered. There is a host of things Keshi did splendid to insult him. That was Keshi. He was a specialist of finding the diamonds in gems. |

Earthquake1:As I said, I can write a thousand times but at the end, you will still make off point statements. Let me help you. I said Nacho will excel in Rodgers system but it is not about playing time. I hammered on it because I foresaw the challenges. I brought out quotes to show why the system will favor Nacho but I was more interested in Nacho improving as a player. I knew playing time will come hard but improvement was a certainty which is the priority. During the preseason, the impact was clear to see. Nacho showed improvement especially tactically. Now the idea is to get playing time, Either by Rodgers or elsewhere. What matters is that when he gets a chance in an offensive system, he will excel. This is not different from what I said even before Rodgers signed him. At the end, you will still not comprehend all I wrote and then I wonder, what is the need spending time trying to orient. |

charlesemeka85:You have a point? Saying Keshi did not call big name players or called mediocre players shows you missed the magic of Keshi. Just as many blind at the NFF. Keshi was a symbol of creativity and devotion to make the most of the little he had. He was a true blessing. If he was white, most of you would hsve written his name on a gold slate. |

There was another story that he was retained cos there was a 1 million dollar clause in his contract in the case of dismissal. Where will Nff get this from if they fire him? Unless ofcourse this is not true, i stick to it hehehehe. charlesemeka85: |
