So, we go about losing first legs all qualifiers, then take that as a cue to beef up the squad with real quality that was there originally for the 2nd leg. There's gotta be something wrong with the team's handlers. |

Faleye was very poor today. This guy does not start in Austria division 2 but we called him up when there are better players. |

That is true. Ndifreke is a makeshift MF... but instead of focusing on Imama's gaffes I just had to focus on the poitives from the game. I sincerely believe Azubuike did a yeoman's job in the middle with a makeshift Ndifreke beside him. Would have been a lot easier if an Onyeka started. tbaba1234: |

tbaba1234:You are dead wrong. The Sudanese are also football players. Losing 1-0 is not a disgrace in any fashion. They are at home and it is the first match the team has ever played together. The missed chances should give us hope because it means we did something right to create them and we will bury them in Nigeria |

BascoVanVeli:You realise that all they need is to score in Nigeria to complicate our situation. The Sudanese team, i watched was not that good. With a little more quality, we would have beaten them. 1:0 is tricky |

Na em be the problem. Imagine when a player like chidera Ejike would have been invited instead of players from the Austrian 2nd tier and Portuguese 3rd tier. From the little I saw in the match the midfield and flanks weren't working with only azubuike trying to make an impact from the middle. I don't blame awoniyi because a striker can't deliver when he is starved of the ball. I hope they correct the mistake in the 2nd leg tbaba1234: |

BascoVanVeli:Just a few days back some folks were talking about how good the Sudanese player where.. and how their league is better than ours... Now they beat us in their backyard the same folks are still complaining... |

Yea, azubuike was the only person in the middle trying to create something. Awoniyi was isolated and starved of passes TheSuperNerd: |

He tried his best but Ndifreke no help matters at all. I watched an Azubuike hold the ball and always looking for the easy pass to his team mates. The pitch was bad too and didn't help maters but Azubuike would carry the ball forward and find his wingers sometimes. He was decent in ball retention and distribution. No way he could utterly dominate with the terrible pitch and terrible midfield partner. tbaba1234: |

Game over. 1. Odey and Awoniyi...no wonder their progress has been like this. 2 The goalkeeper is a mess... 3. No one should talk about the pitch..The sudanese played on the same pitch, played better and even scored 4. LAZARUS AND OKECHUKWU are the only players to be invited for second leg... 5. The type of crossings in this game by Nigeria players were wonders...from one side to the corner flag of the other side ![]() 6. Why play high ball when Sudanese are taller? 7 |

tbaba1234:You guys should remember that there won't be any chance of borrowing players in the second leg o. cos the super eagles friendly bis taking place in Ukraine, so no chance of borrowing players Well I still believe we will win scale through Sha. |

We must talk about am. The Sudanese are already used to that farmland Abeg. Can't you see that some of our crosses were overhit sometimes because of the poor pitch. Only Azubuike, that defender with rasta hair (Ndah/Manyo I tink) and even John Lazarus came to master the pitch as the game progressed. Even John overhit a cross once and kicked the pitch in anger telling you how terrible it was today. gamaliel9: |
