TheGoodJoe:Pure rubbish to be honest.. Has the person watched the matches? There is nothing he could have done about the goals in the last two games. I have watched Okoye and he is not bad at all. |

Coach without certificate, be there questioning, since sense has refused to tell you that Maduka was never coming to be first choice. I for call you blockhead, but no need. |

I read that Kelechi Nwakali was invited to U23 camp. Is it true? We really need all the help now to qualify to the U23 caf Olympic qualifiers tournament. Orji, Okereke and Michael should also be begged to come to our aid. I still don't know what Imama was thinking to shut these guys out in the first place. |

tbaba12345:I just don't understand.... some peeps the problem with our football development is this IMAMA of a coach for now...and not a 19 year old German born goalie with a bright future salisu Yusuf is way better than him. watched some of Agu clip today....it really hurts me....because once this lads start play for Germany cadet teams they barely change their minds easily..... the German national team is too tempting to ignore..... this guy just like maduka was within our reach but pride and the desire to see him play in big club made us loose him... even komekn was trying discourage us from going after him which I believe he was doing out of sheer jealousy and hypocrisy because the English born he kept mentioning here TOMORI wanna play for England just like TAMMY just pray we become more proactive enough |

Many folks here will argue and disagree with you with regards to this matter. I know the backlash i received here for recommending Maja to be capped asap when he was banging in goals every weekend in league 1 with the likes of spurs, Southampton and others waiting to pounce to snatch him from Sunderland. Alot of this kids habour the ambition and desire to play for their country of birth which are better recognized and rated in world football but have a second thought about their international career when it becomes obvious to them that breaking into the team of their country of birth will be a tough one. When these kids are approached many here considered it a let down to our football for reaching out/begging these kids as they put it here to play for us at the expense of our homegrown talents which to me is nonsensical without putting into consideration that the sole aim is to have a collection of talented players from both end inorder to have a larger pool of good players and as well to build a formidable team. I am of the suggestion that we must not wait until this kids hits stardom which makes it very difficult for them to turn down the lure of turning out for their country of birth. The ones that wants to play for us should be integrated our nationals teams(U17, 20,23 and senior team) to wade of the lure of playing for other countries their have affiliation to. If better football nations like France, Germany, England, Italy, Spain etc can benefit from having players of dual nationality in their fold I see no reason we shouldn't tap from such practice. The super eagles should be open to players from both ends(homegrown and foreign born) whereas the best will be retained to build a formidable team going forward Humility017: |

Nigeria U20 star Nnamdi Ofoborh has made his professional debut for Wycombe Wanderers aged 19 years and 10 months. The Bournemouth loanee was called into first team action by manager Gareth Ainsworth in the 59th minute as Wycombe Wanderers registered a 3-1 win against Lincoln City at Adams Park. Ofoborh first made the Bournemouth match day squad against MK Dons in the League Cup in August 2018 and was also in the 18 for first team matches against Fulham, Spurs, Blackburn, Norwich and Forest Green Rovers but was a non-playing substitute each time. Against Lincoln City this afternoon, the Flying Eagle replaced Matthew Bloomfield, who had to be stretchered off after suffering an injury. A Joe Jacobson brace and an additional tally from Michael Bostwick saw Wycombe record their fourth win of the season while Lincoln City's Nigerian striker John Akinde reduced the deficit on 50 minutes. Ofoborh played three games for the Flying Eagles at the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland. |
