Tribunal Affirms Election Of Ovie Omo-Agege by AhlexOfficial(op): 3:11pm On Sep 07, 2019
The Delta State National Assembly election petition tribunal sitting in Asaba, the capital, on Saturday upheld the election of the Deputy Senate President and lawmaker representing Delta Central Senatorial district, Ovie Omo-Agege.

Evelyn Oboro, the Peoples Democratic Party candidate in the 2019 general elections for the senatorial district, had filed a petition challenging the victory of Omo-Agege, the All Progressives Congress candidate.

In a unanimous judgement delivered on Saturday, the panel dismissed Oboro's petition on the ground that the petition lacked merit and the petitioner could not prove her case beyond reasonable doubt.

I hope you have heard that

The minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio had call the senator representing Kogi west, Dino Melaye after his humiliated defeat from PDP governorship primaries.

Senator Dino Meyale lost the governorship primaries to Engr. Wada, the younger brother to the former governor of Kogi state, Idris Wada.

Akpabio called Dino Melaye to meet him on the street of Abuja...

No try the man for orogun if not the people will attack you.

His father's name may have paved the way but his political sagacity and doggedness kept him until now.

I love the way he humiliated the then senate leadership concerning their power to suspend him, that was one legal issue was pleased went to court for interpretation... The case made us know the Senate can't suspend a member for whatever reason for more that 11 days, Abdulmumin jubril had served several months suspension for nothing

Omo Agege has a very strong grassroot than Ndoma Egba has if not his father's name wouldn't have kept him till now.

Imagine he won his first Senate seat using Labour Party although ogboru's influence added to his own.
