"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” (Ephesians 6:10-13)
OpenYourEyes1: I listened to the beautiful of book of Ephesians yesterday. It has lot of wise teaching concerning the family and the church. I have always wondered why some criticize the teachings of apostle Paul in that Book. Could it be due to his teachings on the role of women in the family? Have we even considered that the role of women in the Bible is oppsite of what satan want; that is, the elevation of womanhood above man? Or a stronger woman and weaker man? Women are in fact weaker vessels and must be loved by the husband without coditon. While man is the head of the family and must rule over his wife with the fear of GOD. The devil wants the weaker vessel who he can easily manipulate. Allow your husband in Christ Jesus to rule over you and it shall be well with the family.
