Hey guys. I need a candid advice please: my wife is a US citizen. She recently filed for me to come through a spousal visa. Bug then that process I heard takes about 9-15months. I would like to go visit her. She is of the Ipinion I apply for visa and come. My take is will the embassy issue me a tourist visa to allow me to go visit her for few weeks then come back. Or I shouldn’t just go and focus on our processing on me to go there and be with her

Looking to apply for a tourist visa to the US by Feb next year (2020)and have only travelled to Egypt. Would my trip to Egypt count towards travel history or is it grouped with other travel destinations that are not considered, when assessing travel history by the VO.

The fee is collected from Nigerians all over the world as long as you carry our passport for US VISA interview.

Why can't they even give Americans VISAs free of charge?

Good day house, I paid for VISA Fee for my 2kids and I when getting to book appointment I has applied the reference code I got after paying at the GTBank.
Went for interview, told to reschedule for another appointment that the barcode isn’t the same.

Tried booking with the same receipt numbers, got this message:

“No valid record can be found for the entered receipt number. Please validate that your receipt number is correct and that you have paid the correct amount for the visa which you are applying for”

Please house what is the solution to this... time is far spent. anyone in this kind of issues waiting for.
Way forward, kindly know that I paid for 3.

Even if Nigerian visas for US citizens are free it will not be reciprocal.

There are a number of countries that grant US citizens free visas to their country but it is not reciprocal from the US.

But I believe the US will reciprocate any action we take, either positively/negatively.

Those other countries not enjoying reciprocal measures may not be compared to Nigeria, the 'giant' of Africa.

The chances of getting a visiting visa while you have a pending immigrant case with USCIS is so so slim.

Just relax and it would all be done before you know it.

I'd rather add more money to the money for the B2 visa application and use it to make her visit Naija.

You just answered my question with questions.

Since you are taking that line you could have taken with a pinch of salt all serious, pls explain why they should not.

Are all the charges collected from Americans for our VISA really worth it?

Check the reciprocacy schedule of the US for countries even with far better economy than Nigeria and you may understand my side of the story.

Even Ghanians as of today are given 60 months (5 years) for their B1/B2 visa application with Zero reciprocacy fee.

Wait for 2-3 days after the turn back (you may have to call the embassy/the CGI crew), they will be reactivated for use, that’s if you never did an interview reschedule with it before now anyways.

@Legends6464: how did yours go last month? Was the reactivation/rescheduling done during or after the 3 days?

Take the receipt back to GTBank, it has happened to me before the bank didnt validate the receipt do that immediately so they do not deny or say u already used it
