Lol...Iwobi's statistical data is too poor for a club of Arsenal's calibre.. the club is changing since it got Raul Sanhelli as Director.
the man is being ruthless, look at the players Arsenal cut loosed this summer.
Iwobi at best is a bench player at Arsenal except he improves immensely.
Other than that, it's a great move for him, to go establish himself somewhere else with less pressure

Iwobi is a better player than Pepe?
Lol, because Iwobi has one cup goal and one league goal while Pepe has none?
You've seen Pepe's Arsenal games?
plus you do realize Iwobi grew up playing the English game and Pepe only came like months ago and is adapting to the change?
Nigerians you guys should stop being sentimental, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd, Napoli all placed the bid for Pepe, Pepe chose Arsenal cause of playing time and you think Iwobi is better than he is?

Arsenal made the best choice in selling Iwobi.

If you are a winger, be a winger. If you are a midfielder, be a midfielder. Don't allow a coach to tag you a winger cum midfielder. Immediately Arsenal brought in Ceballos and Pepe, I knew Iwobi would leave. If he had taken on one position, man would have developed to the point of fighting for his place (at least) at Arsenal

It is a win-win situation for all parties involved.

Alex Iwobi doubled his weekly salary from recent increment of £70,000 at Arsenal to between £120,00 and £150,000 at Everton. In addition, he gets more playing time to develop given the assurances of Everton manager.

Arsenal FC sells its academy product for a good price to balance its books while keeping an eye on him as he develops at Everton for possible repurchase.

Arsenal fans will have a chance to look for another villain to lambast after each poor outing.

Everton FC will strengthen its attack force.

Bottom line: Alex Iwobi was not forced out of Arsenal. He was willing to leave because he got a better offer at Everton and an opportunity to prove himself as a professional footballer and a grown ass man as opposed to being perpetually underrated at Arsenal as "Arsenal youngster".

I really did hope Iwobi would be a one club man but ultimately player has to make the best decision for his career, no matter the future outcome. I also feel he would still be at Arsenal if Mkhitaryan was let go of first. The mistake Arsenal made was selling Iwobi but letting Ramsey go for free, I'll never get my head around that.

NwaAmaikpe:
shocked

Sentiments aside.
Arsenal took the best decision on Alex Iwobi.

The team needed to be firing on all cylinders this 2019/2020 season...sadly Alex had become an oil soaked, faulty spark plug.

Based on his antecedents in Arsenal, we know his two header goals are just a fluke.
The Pepe choice will pay off on the long run.
Brace up for more wonderful flukes this season

Arsenal did well by selling Iwobi because he's well below the standard expected of an Arsenal player. You can't win trophies with players like Iwobi in your team. Hence, a mid table team like Everton, Southampton is suited for him.

Wait until season ends before you brag about Pepe

So far, he has done nothing exceptional and is still riding on past glory. It is normal for people to think the new product is better than the old one at first. Time will judge

Arsenal will not win any trophies this season

At least he scored at Europa finals, while the rest of the Arsenal standard players were invisible when Chelsea was destroying the team

Do you watch Arsenal games? I've actually asked the guy up there, have you guys seen Pepe's performances in Arsenal's jersey or u guys keep sating saying stuffs because he's yet to get a goal?
BTW I don't know who's bragging about Pepe here that you said wait till season end, it's only fair and rational that you guys wait till end of the season also before you judge Pepe in his first season

He's better off in Everton instead of sitting on the bench in Arsenal, he has gone to a team where he would play in the starting eleven. So i don't know wah uncle Kanu is saying .
