That Kalu turn that let to the goal was the highlight of the half for me. Brilliant display of skill.

Our counters were on point. We are missing Ndidi because we look defensively vulnerable but best half from Nigeria in a while

He is not settled yet. I know follow pple wey dey hype mediocrity. I'm also waiting for the day ejaria will debut
Yeah and some people were castigating Rohr for not playing possession football with Ndidi and Etebo in midfield

What is needed is somebody who will link defence to attack and Aribo hopefully, is the one

The 2 let down so far in the game are Aina and ajayi. Aina's defending is suspect while ajayi need to calm down a bit
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by benji93: 8:25pm On Sep 10, 2019
Our guys are not dictating the game through the midfield. The Ukrainians began picking up steam in the second half of the first half. I hope it doesn't bite them in the ass. And i hope "saviour coach" is taking note.

The front 3 re just selfish. If not it will be like 4 goals now. Osihmen and Chukwueze the culprits.

Apart from the mistake, Aina has been very good.

I agree on Ajayi

Goal scorers in their youth are always selfish. With time they'll be less selfish. Think of CR7.

Aribo is not playing to his full potentials in the team yet. I took out time to scout the guy at charlton I know his qualities wella.

It looks like our attack is more or less quiet now, the Ukrainians are dominating the midfield now
We need a Mikel like midfielder to slow the game at times like this

Maybe Ejaria is the answer

Going forward Aina is great and moves with swagger and a lot of confidence but tracking back have been his undoing so far. He really need to work on the defensive aspect of his game

Tunisia lost 2-1 to ivory coast today... If we beat Ukraine,we may leapfrog them to 2nd spot in Africa.. They are just 15 points ahead of us.

Honestly, if not for our frequent surge forward, i think we might have been in trouble. I think we need some diversity. A slow dictator might work sometimes, at other times it might just stagnate the attack. A combo is the ultimate desire.Your Ejaria looks good though.

A slow dictator is needed when you are 2-0 up

He also does Guardiola style of defending which is keeping the ball from your opponent
