Hi Mama, trust you are doing well.

For the blood test, you will do all the basic blood test- blood group, genotype, pcv level etc at least so they can determine if you will need blood after surgery or not, you may be requested to buy at least 2-3pints of blood just in case. A tvs probably to determine current size so that will advise the Drs on the best incision to make (Vertical or horizontal). Your vitals will be checked at various intervals the day before once you check into the hospital, just before the surgery also so you need to be very calm.......No Dr will want to do a surgery if you are agitated. You can ask about the anesthesia too, I requested to be put to sleep even after I took the spinal because I knew I won't be able to stay still for so long, even if my body wasn't moving, my mind will be racing and thinking a million things because I can be very curious which may not be good in this situation. Please let them explain to you clearly, speak to the anesthetist yourself if need be.

You will need someone to be with you. your Dh may not be able to stay with you all day so you will need someone to be around. My MIL,SIL rotated during the daytime whilst DH and my sister rotated for the nights. I spent 5 days. day 1 to prep for the surgery, the day of the surgery and 3 days for observation. Your Dr will explain all the medical parts to you and their recovery protocol before the surgery.Please bombard them with any detail you may be unclear about once they start speaking their medical grammar.....asked to be explained to in layman's language, they must answer you.

I did once after surgery but still trusting God.
Our body differs so yours might work with faith and prayers.
Ensure your follow your gynaecologist instructions with prayers it might work for you.

You can ovulate without the cervical mucus. The best way to find out if you're ovulating is to do follicular tracking.

I did follicular tracking 3months ago and it was positive with matured eggs ready to drop as at then infact I was schedule for timely intercourse but for two months now that feeling that comes with ovulation doesn't come again.
Pls ma, are you saying its possible to ovulate without cervical mucus? Kindly explain better so as to track ovulation.

Hello Mama
The blood test was for Herpatitis B, HIV, PCV, Genotype, blood group.
I went with my elder sister but unfortunately the hospital doesn't allow that , but she stayed with me that first night. Their rules states that the person comes in morning and go @5pm then the nurses do the work. The nurses clean me and attended to me whenever I needed help both the doctors.
I was transfused after the surgery in the ward same night cos my surgery was done in the evening.
I stayed for 5days
Please don't panic, be calm and peaceful. God's presence will go with you before, during and after the surgery in Jesus name

Yes. It's possible to ovulate w/o cervical mucus. You may have to do the follicular tracking or google other ways to find out if you're ovulating.

To God be ALL the glory, I got my BFP and Blood test confirmed it. The IVF/ICSI(One ovary, 6 follices was seen, 2embryo was transferred and 600thousand sperm count) was done at Kingswill fertility hospital at Festac after 7years and 10month waiting, he gave me and my husband birthday gift! This is coming after over 7years and 10month of TTC. I prayed to God to show me mercy.



*RESEARCH, research & more research! Pls. don’t put yourself 100% in ANY doctor’s hands without researching your options & being able to request whatever will benefit you and support from a lot of people on the group

*Insisting on the cancellation because of the two embryo but the doctor encourage me to proceed that God can perform wonder's.

In this successful cycle my lining was 9.4mm before intro of progesterone & 11.1mm on day of embryo Transfer.

*Castor oil pack on tummy almost daily for about two weeks

*Sometimes soaking feet in hot water for 20 minutes, before bed (also to increase blood flow to uterus) before retrieval

* Taking pineapple core for five days after transfer

*Insisting on Day 5 transfer: I had made up my mind after research that even if all our embryos appeared to be struggling, no Day 2 or 3 transfer; if they all died before Day 5, so be it. Luckily we had 80% ICSI fertilisation.
*After the transfer, taking DAILY injections (with Dr’s permission) 2ml Gestone and 400mg cyclogest; quite painful & bum already feels like a pin cushion but for me no sacrifice is too much.

What I’ve learnt (the hard way) on my long, long TTC journey:
No doctor, spouse, family or friend, can desire my success more than my own self: I am my own best advocate! My sisters, despite glowing recommendations of any fertility clinic/Dr, do your own research. Never be afraid to ask questions and always try to go with your gut feelings; run/’talk to your feet’ if you have integrity concerns about any of them; I have also learned that though often tedious and inconvenient, it pays to try to prepare as much as one humanly can (castor oil, massage, foot soak, taking Dhea, vit c, vit e, vit d and folic acid etc), before the embryo transfer and above all, to always pray for God’s mercy & intervention

Thank you to the mummies in the house for support. The Almighty that started his miracle will perfect it to nine month. My prayer is that God will answer every one too. Love you All

All I can say is it is God....Most mamas here know my story I lost my 7months old baby last year after waiting almost 3years just to have him, it was like the end of the world for me as I amlost fell into depression and later encouraged myself that I won't give up on God when he hasn't given up on..
From June last year I started trying again seriously, went for womb setting, took herbs, lots of Letrozole, vitex, vitE and clomid cycle...Last cycle I decided to try 100mg of clomid for 5days again before going back to resume with a gynea, 3days after the last dose of clomid my pastor called my husband to ask what is really happening cos we've prayed, fasted, gone for deliverance infact I became closer to God...And ever since the begining of this 70days MFM fasting and prayer I have received so many postive prophesy and was just waiting for the manifestation and was also praying to God to visit me before half of the fasting cos i want to come next 70days with my baby/babies.
My pastor introduced us to her sister who happens to be a nurse same day he called DH, she requested we go for some Test(HVS, urinalysis, SFA and sperm analysis) Hubby SFA came out fine with 34million sperm count but my scan read moderate fluid in d pouch of douglas and HVS came back with yeast, bacterial and moderate growth of staph, we started treatment immediately with her on the day of my suppose ovulation, we were given injection, drip and drugs after which she started me on another 6days of another injection(11 days straight of injection)...During this time I was just praying to God that my pain and money won't be wasted, I tot I was actually out last cycle and waiting patiently for new cycle to start again...
AF was due last week thursday, I kept having cramps thinking its on d way but no show, same thing friday, tested on Friday and got a negative and later DAT night I saw a blood stain on my pant, I got my pad ready for saturday went for PMCH with my faith material and cried unto the lord, came back from church there was still No show only cramps decided to test an I got a very faint positive same thing on Sunday, the nurse took my blood on Sunday and it was positive but faint she told the line is there but maybe I ovulated later than I tot, by Monday tested again and got a much darker test and it keep getting darker ever day....The lord as indeed visit me and gave me my rainbow baby.
