Abogwara:
It is very easy to detect a propaganda or billboard Governor by his photos. A working Governor hardly spends money on professional edited photos and doesn't merry with flag off of works but rather commissioning if he wants or at best save the money for more important issues. Hardly did we see professional photos of Heroes Square when Okorocha built it but rather it was ordinary people who took the available photos.

I am afraid you don't have a point here.

Why would a rational governor use edited photos as basis for impressing people who actually know whether a project was executed or not?

High-quality pictures are important, please. Kindly compare CNN and NTA to grasp what I mean.

BTW, projects are built for people who live in a state to enjoy and not to hoodwink those who live far away.

Don't be deceived... people on ground vote...not people who depend on the media/Internet to source their info because they live far away from the state.

That’s my point. Ihedioha has spent more time on media and photoshop than on the people but then it has affected his rating which has kept nosediving till date.

More new projects in imo state university.

Ihedioha still allowed Tetfund to expand Imo state university in Owerri, but the committee of Ihedioha asked him to expand Imo state university in Okigwe, Ogboko and Mbaise.

But why Owerri de see it as sin to allow government university for Orlu?

Owerri fought Udenwa to standstill against locating IMSU at Orlu.

Owerri fought Okorocha standstill against locating IMSU at Ogboko

O ga dikwa egwu ooo!!!

Now that it's apparent gov Ihedioha has abandoned his committee directive to use Eastern Palm University Ogboko as expansion for Imo state university,
and as Ihedioha has ordered that IMSU be expanded in Owerri using the old secretariat of IMSG,
Owerri shall continue to attract population with ghettos in communities around Owerri, jungles of concrete buildings and hotels with no street planing, no good access roads, no water supply, no electricity, no parks and recreation centers, nothing, while other once developing towns in Imo state shrink.

Imo a state touted for large population of educated people had been strangulated by the primitive greed of a clan which corners and covets nearby all govt development infrastructures in Imo for Owerri.

And the lamentations continue...

At least it's no Rochas' fault anymore.

Yes. If you are sincere , you needed to join the lamentations if you truly understand that a state was created for development of the entire area of the state, not only the state capital, not by turn by turn.

You know that Rochas exacerbated the concentration of development in state capital due to his aspiration to become president of Nigeria.

This thread is as dead as a log of wood in Sapele forest because nothing tangible is happening other than destruction of already established infrastructure. This Woddi Wellness and Fitness center was built and equipped to taste as a pet project of Okorocha's wife in 2017 and has served as a free medical center for Imo citizens in past 2 years under Catholic management but Ihedioha has recently decided to close it down and turn it to office for Imo security guard vandalizing the building and equipments after which he will turn around to use his paid bloggers and lie to the world that it was abandoned, uncompleted, unnecessary, not equipped, Okorocha's private hospital or substandard.

The free Mother and Child Hospital built and furnished to taste by Okorocha has also been vandalized and turned into a mechanic workshop by the present Government. The complex was commissioned in May by VP Osinbajo.

More,

Imolites is this forwardness or backwardness?
If ihedioha builds everything he can, and probably another government comes in and get them destroyed, is that how imo gonna be great, prosperous and developed?

If ihedioha wishes to succeed, he gotta listen to the voice of reason, pay attention to constructive criticism, else his paid praise singers would watch him fall into the ditch.

Others are looking towards continuing positivities of their predecessors and seeing to how to right the negativities, for instance, despite the acrimony between kwankwaso and ganduje, he still insisted on finishing them unfinished projects of kwankwaso, see akeredolu going as far as seeking for support from heath actors and international medical ngos from US etc to see how he can get the hospitals equipped, look at obaseki finishing up edo state specialist hospital, check out ugwuanyi doing that of enugu, how about obiano in anambra, or you wanna talk about that of ebonyi getting completed by umahi,

That is how it was meant to be, government is a continuum, every inadequacy is an opportunity for improvement,

Ain't no successful man on earth, who looked at his problems and say, o yee burden, unto thee I commit my spirit,

You was elected to provide solutions, and not to get them exacerbated,

We talking mother to child health, maternal health, phc, access to basic health care,

Is it a crime if the state improves on her maternal health coverage?

I know the government is following this conversation, please we appeal to your conscience to listen to the voice of reason.

I know that many people in this forum are PDP apologists. They will never criticize incompetence.

Imo PDP is something you should never wish upon your worst enermy; I will keep saying this here.

Imo people saw the mess that Ohakim made and still went ahead to vote for PDP again. Ihe onye choo ka ofu...they will enjoy the propaganda they voted into power.

The mess Nigeria gets today at federal level was something APC learned from the old PDP.

Imo and Abia States are not ready to move forward. The day they are, they will vote out PDP for a century or even more!

PDP has done a good job in Enugu and Ebonyi States...but never in Imo and Abia. Perhaps the two states have the highest concentration of evil men and women in one party, the PDP.

Wherever you see Rochas Okorocha, tell him that Orlu people say ntooooooor to him. He was a state governor ravaged by his 1990s grudge against Orlu.

Eight years Federal allocations to the 12 local government areas in Orlu zone, Okorocha wasted the allocations building these unplanned, unapproved and non-budgeted vainglorious houses you are showing in Owerri.
All that mattered to him in Orlu zone was build dual lane road from Owerri to his village in Ogboko for his private businesses.

That university he built in his village, it's Imo state government property, now at the mercy of his enemies.

Rochas Okorocha you did not know that once you were made governor, you should have left ENMITY behind.
Enmity against Orlu made you start to build 27 new hospitals and bigger ones in Owerri while you worked hardest to kill the university teaching hospital at Orlu. This is road you left for a teaching hospital.
Tufiakwa, what a village man mentality - Rochas.

And his supporters are not ashamed of displaying erosion as Okorocha's doing whereas same erosion has always been and will always be an ecological problem we must face in this part of Nigeria with porous soil type.

I hope to start seeing solutions instead of celebrating challenges with cameramen

Huncle, you have made your point crystal clear.

Okorocha has moved on, you should follow suit.

I believe there must be some projects that are going on in Imo, which you wouldn't want members of this forum to see because you have an ulterior motive.

Calm down; you should grow above parochialism and continue to furnish this thread with pictures like you used to do.

It's glaringly obvious that you wish to paint the picture that Imo State died when Okorocha left the office. Trust me, nobody will fall for that..So, let's move on as a people who put their state first before political affiliations.

Thank you

My dear brother I don't have time for what you are insinuating because I have always put Imo State ahead of politics so I'm lost as to how you came up with that conclusion. Ihedioha has paid bloggers that carry his news on social media unlike Okorocha so if things are happening you won't need me to post them here as it's always handy across various platforms.

I hope to start seeing solutions and not celebrating challenges with cameramen like seen here. Scroll through this thread and observe one thing which is projects and solutions from page 1 till the last and you won't see Okorocha visiting erosion site and condemning Ohakim then 4 months later no action.
