I need an experience driver already with uber/taxify... That stays on the mainland, and has got solid guarantors and knows Lagos well.
I had a bad experience with a driver I met on NL,the idiot destroyed my suspension. (So don't expect me to be nice biko). I own a Toyota Camry 04 big daddy.

Chief, I'd love to call your attention to something : in Lagos, no matter how careful and patient you are to other road users, misfortune could beset anyone.
I started this hustle fully on Monday, never drag the road with incoming vehicles, maintain my lane and been trying to drive carefully on potholes, but the worst imagined yesterday along Lagos -Badagry expressway yesterday, an Okada ram my car from behind and broke my brake light and a plastic on my bumper.
Before, i could open the door, he zoomed off and there was nothing i could do at that point because the road was treacherous with long traffic, is't my fault? NO
Could i have managed the situation better ? NO
The best thing one can do at this moment is get a comprehensive insurance, with that, you won't have to worry about the bills.
May God help us all.

He is simply using all the horses and torques available in the engine.
That engine reaches its peak at high RPM.
I tell you and it can also be possible the car was on jack, maybe at workshop.
Because I feel the engine is not supposed to go beyond 4 to attain that speed, just my thought ooo

Rider: hello I requested you, where are you.

Driver: am at XYZ road Sangotedo, I'll be with you shortly, please where are you going?

Rider: ABC Street Iyana oba.

Driver: Okay Ma,
(He makes a mental note of the fare and it was about 6k, but on second thought, driver brings out his Google map, types and locates the street, click on image and sees the following image below and calls back.)

Driver: sorry Ma, kindly request another, I have some other engagements shortly and may not be back early enough.

Rider: WHAT DO YOU MEAN, THAT'S HOW ALL OF YOU BEHAVE, 10million DRIVERS HAVE REJECTED THIS TRIP, I WILL REPORT YOU TO UBER. NONSENSE!

Driver: Emabinu ma
(drops phone and starts whistling, brings out his nairaland to type and Bolt request enters, destination? International Airport to and fro. He starts singing and driving James Bond, skips the traffic light and before he could say Jack, LASTMA ride blocks him and demands he winds down, guy took the next turning and disappeared into the long tarred road.

Ended up nearly missing the airport trip. After 4hrs of hard driving : fare 7k, rider gave him 10k for the James bond show)

It's possible. That car has a 1.6ltr displacement as he said. He has to rev the engine to 6,000rpm to kick all the 118 horses running.
That's one of the disadvantage of a naturally aspirated 4 cylinder engine.

Oga izzou, you also mentioned mushin, alagbole, Ayobo, . pls how will one know all these bad areas, cos some riders mite use another name to describe the place if they realise drivers r canceling the request on them.

Please, help list all the bad areas which might run the legs of the vehicle down. Thanks

Forgot to reply to this

If we start listing all bad roads, then no-one will drive. But like someone said, the Mainland has most bad roads

Avoid Lagos Badagry expressway, especially if you're on rental
I don't go to Alagbole and Akute. After that bridge is a disaster
And so many others

But if you see a road that's impassable, just let your rider know.

If you want your car to last long most times, don't even consider rating. If them block you, go and unblock yourself again

Please, can you share your experience with the yaba touts, of all the local govt touts, the yaba guys seems the most notorious. Also, the bluffing, how did you wiggle out of the situation
and these guys, do they just spring out of nowhere or there are specific areas to watch out for them.

I never thought anyone would take a badagry express way request, the farthest anyone should go along that route is mile 2. I have never seen a road as bad as that.
