Plenty discomfort o, pooping day is always interesting day for us. But mine is over 6months now and even though he hardly accepts food, he likes water so i give him plenty water, plus he only likes bumbum blocking food like bread, gala and pancakes so his problem is many

Aww, the good thing is he likes taking water. It will go a long way in assisting in him not being constipated. I pray God's protection over our LOs, amen.

You should go to the hospital immediately and get it tested again, sometimes it could be an error in the reading or a one-off thing that will still go down. Either way your baby is almost term so no need to be scared, just go to the hospital.

My baby is almost 2 months old now (7weeks+). Pls I'll like to ask if it's normal for a baby of that age not to poop for 5 days straight? He only farts & pees regularly, and doesn't show any sign of discomfort. I'm really worried cos for an adult, it's a thing of concern not to poop for that long . BTW, he's on EBF. Thanks as I await your responses.

My DS did not poop for three weeks after he turned 6weeks... We tried all means possible but no poop .... The day he finally pooped, the poop was so much that I had to bath him....
Just be patient, he will poop. U don't have to worry if his stomach is relaxed. The two doctors I asked said it is normal for EBF babies

Are you talking about molfix or pampers? If is molfix please attach pictures of the diaper and pack too cos the one my son use always gets full easily.

Are you aware your child like you have a love language with which he receives and communicate love?

Do you know you can love your child and your child knows it without doubt but still doesn't feel loved?
Most parents love their kids unconditionally but not most kids feel same especially as they grow into their teenage years because it is not received in their own terms or desired behaviour. Saying I love you doesn't sufficiently pass the message. Providing basic needs should not make the children automatically accept or receive their parent's unconditional love. Still most parents show their unconditional love conditionally by only giving gifts, rewards etc when a child behave in a desired way.



Children are emotional beings, their first understanding of the world is emotional, even foetus react to anger or happiness of their mother. A child may notice his parents anger or happiness before them. So also your child perceives your love from his primary love language.



A well loved child will channel anger positively. A child or teen is more likely to consider and accept your suggestions when he perceives your love is genuine and consistent. Communicating your child's love language doesn't mean your child won't rebel later but it does brings security, hope and help them grow to responsible adults.



What a child most deeply crave to food, house, clothing, mental and emotional need is security. Security helps a child to develop rational skills, not to be withdrawn or too controlling or authoritative; putting others down to get their own needs.

Thank you for this. That's how my SIL told me that her Dd has ntị wa ịsị, I told her I've never heard of that and there's nothing like that. She went to hospital, they told her the same. When I went to visit her, I asked her about it, she told me a nurse gave her silverbird to use on her forehead that she did and now it has closed. I told her have you applied it on your skin, do you know it's harsh? I can't even use it for steam inhalation ni. She was like Ohhhh, no wonder my baby was always crying anytime I use it on her, I even finished it.
I told you there's nothing like that, hospital chased you back, you still went to see nurse mgbenga.
I was even telling her to wear firm bra, MIL told her to wear nursing bra that firm bra will give her breast cancer cos of the breastmilk. I shaa just left them cos it come be like tug of war with MIL.

She vehemently refused to go to SIL's house. If I complain, they'll say I'm not accommodating enough. From ọmụgwọ to staying with us till December. None is fake, but they just upgraded to the new one as confirmed by a mama on this thread. The new /upgrade is yet to flood the market . I believe they want to sell out the old b4 they flood with the upgrade.
