I see. That are two quite different views. So, I guess Nigeria is partially strong and growing and partially dead. Religiousness and hypocracy is a common phenomenon in christianity. There were always many many persons who claimed to be christians but were not. Either they believe more in membership than in Jesus, or they believe more in people than in Jesus, or more in rituals than in Jesus, or or... |

Subduer:Christainity is only now growing and spreading by converting fellow xtians within its various denominations. It has reached its limits,There are now fewer illiterate and hungry pagans to convert.Nigeria's population now,is almost equally split between Muslims and Christians, and it has had far fewer successes in gaining Muslims as converts. |

Little is left of the original teaching of love, self denial and purity of heart as taught by the Lord Jesus Christ. |

tartar9: People CHOOSE to become & remain Christians. Islam is generally IMPOSED ON SUPPRESSED people, & most remain moslems due to fear of being beheaded. |

My take; Christianity is dwindling while Churches in Nigeria are increasing. Such Paradox!! Why did I say so, the aim of Christianity is the belief in Christ as the savior, being just like Christ. But today may churches are more concerned with just bringing crowd, raising funds, partnerships. The core is missing! The core is to be Christ Like |

EkunKekere:The fertility rate for Muslim women is about 3.1 per woman; how many siblings do you have; are your parents rabbits? Most increase from both religion comes by converting babies ,actual conversion is a minuscule factor in each growths. We shouldn't also forget christains once had the highest birthrates up to the 1970's,so what's the biggie. |

EkunKekere:When the sort percentage of you see of those practicing polygamy in most of the Muslim world are something like 3%,why should polygamy still be a factor ![]() Moreover, birthrate is measured by the number of children per women and not really affected by number of wives since in any society the ratio of men to women is roughly equal. |

It's a relief to finally meet a mooslim who accepts the uncontroverted demographical truth that the ratio of men to women is roughly equal. Because your champion Zakir Naik insists on following the islamic recommendation of 4 women to every man. He's even made up lies to justify this belief: The sad news is that while islamic clerics and Islam itself has no answers for the problems of poverty, wretchedness and illiteracy afflicting the islamic world, they've always found ways to get MOOslims to procreate. Much to the horror and discomfort of the rest of humanity. tartar9: |

EkunKekere:Better having no answers as you claim than collecting 10% what they could muster. Direct your query with Zakir naik to Zakir naik. |
