Why do you think after that incident, Nigeria has not done sth similar again? Anyway, most black countries, once there is some delusion of imminent economic prosperity, they begin to exhibit resentment to other nationals.

While the irony is that other advanced countries like the UK, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada have used this exact same diversity to further create advancements.

In 1652 white people arrived South Africa (initially not to colonize them) but to live because the climate there is almost like Europe. Ever since, they've been at war to fight them off. This worsened when the British arrived to both enslave, colonize them and to live there. Eventually, it all descended to apartheid in which they were regarded as second hand citizen in their own country....... I am sure you know the story.

It wasn't until 1990 that they regained their freedom from white people at least POLITICALLY. I said politically because they're still not free as we can say of every other African country colonized by white people. But that's a different topic for another day.

Now, let me ask you a question. What do you think would be the legacy of fighting off foreigners from their land for 400 years? What do you think would be the impact on them?

The impact would be that they'll have to always consider foreigners as threat. What you see them do today is the psychological impact of having to fight off foreigners from their land for so long.[/b][/b][b]


OK bro: this is it. Let me first acknowledge what an honour it is to, for d very first time, talk with u one on one. And how also I'm surprised you found a post of mine that made mention of you. I make it a duty to visit your site about once a month at least when I find time, and I followed you (africason.com) on fb a while ago. This is to show u how much I appreciate your efforts. With your profound astuteness, research and knowledge, dont you think your audience, even on this forum, should be much larger than what it currently is? Many on here drift away with useless topics and discussions; even in the middle of unleashed endemic impoverishment, yet somehow someway you don't still see the black race seems to have some genetic wiring bordering on sub-human level? I'll be surprised if you haven't thought that way.

With that out of the way, let's tackle your first piece of argument. Your contention here is that the telescoped offshoot from fighting off foreigners for 400 years is to continue to seeing them as threat. Now 400 years is quite a long time and it is safe to say no one alive bore witness to the start of it. But middle to old-aged people can bear witness to something which you somehow missed: how Nigeria made efforts to isolate the pressure of the segregated political system in South Africa, where privileges where exclusively given to those with European origin. Now there are 2 things here: on the surface it may be easy to label the Europeans bad, but if you think deeper, the whites were actually responsible for the wealth accrued to the country. They actively grew the industrial sector and the mining too, with serious investments of research and exploration for iron ore, coal briquettes and even platinum.

This wasn't the conventional slave trade at play. This was just class white intelligence prevailing over black's - nothing more, nothing less. But just as it is in business, as it is in investments, losers would always cry foul. Back to my point, Nigeria led the international effort to isolate the apartheid system in xouth africa, also contributed millions to the xouth africa party african nation congress (which was nothing more than a mere movement at the time).

So my question is this, how can the impact of fighting off foreigners for 400+ years, be so beclouding that they begin to fight off the citizens of the very prominent nation that helped them out of the system? Do you know for a number of years that the Nigerian government pumped millions of dollars to the ANC party in S.A? What does this tell you? Did the whites influence this too?

Bro, the current reality is that science and technology is the compass to wealth for nations. It's no coincidence that slavery began to die when technology and science were recording geometric advancements. Language, education and religion you say are the tools. But what do we use the language to do other than slander and slur all day long? Does it depend on the language? A typical yoruba conductor in Lagos who never went to school, knows English or ever visited a church, who completely missed out on these tools you say, is ever-ready to curse throughout the day of earning his living. A typical igbo business trader who never went to school or speak english properly is ready to abuse a lady who walked by without answering his call.

Even the so-called religion, our leaders make oaths on the bible and / or Quran before stepping into office. Leaders, church leaders / followers alike all swear by the bible but do the most despicable things you can't imagine. Hypocrites. I could even argue that it is these tools that have made some blacks to be less demonic.

And one final point. Haven't you ever thought that what our current rulership in Nigeria is, is also a form of apartheid? Only this time, its blacks doing it on blacks. So much for the whites 'completely destroying' us.
