This is why i hate maths..... |
| Re: Can You Solve This Problem? (photo) by Nobody: 4:38pm On Sep 14, 2019 |
It's impossible. Why?.......it's because any combination of any two of the above numbers(odd numbers) would give you an even number e.g 1+1=2, 5+7=12. If another one of the given numbers is added, it would give an odd number and never 30. In other words, you can never add 3 odd numbers and get an even number. Odd+odd=even...........odd+odd+odd=odd. Thank you. |

Very simple! The equation allows that we use a number twice so here goes: 11 + [3 factorial 2] + 13 = 30 11 + 6 + 13 = 30 |

An odd number of odd numbers can not give an even number Impossible! |
| Re: Can You Solve This Problem? (photo) by drharry: 7:15pm On Sep 14, 2019 |
Answer 3! + 11+ 13 equals 30 NB: 3! in mathematical language is 3x2x1 equals 6 QED |

Is only possible using some functions, Cos Cos1,+15,+15 factorial (!) 3!,+11,+13 Differentiation (dy/dx of 5) +15 +15 And some other functions |

The sum of three odd numbers cannot be an even number. |
| Re: Can You Solve This Problem? (photo) by Mrshape: 7:44pm On Sep 14, 2019 |
Martinez39:. Very true, an even number can only be archived by processing the odd number(s) with a function. |

1 factorial 0+ 15 factorial 1+ 15 factorial 1= 30 |
| Re: Can You Solve This Problem? (photo) by Stundey(m): 8:35pm On Sep 14, 2019 |
TechCapon:So simple! Addition of 3 odd numbers can't give even number, but that's not all as we have to solve this. So here is the solution - 13 + 11 + rotate the 9 by 180° to the left (it gives 6) = 30 My 2 cents SN: I ain't a mathematician ooo ![]() |

Yes I can and this is the solution 3! + 9 + 15 = 30 I do not think there is any other way to solve this without adding an even number. NOTE : 3! = 3x2x1 = 6 |
| Re: Can You Solve This Problem? (photo) by Nobody: 12:03am On Sep 15, 2019 |
Please don't make things difficult for yourself. 3 is not the same as 3! neither is 5 the same as -5. |
