Discontinue if you perceive any leakage, don't make answer or make calls or light a match or other flames, in case of any leakage and open all the windows to let the gases escape from the room.
Service cylinders and burners regularly
Always be mindful of expiry date
Have quick fire fighting devices
Put the gas cylinder outside and connect to the burner through a hose.
Don't make or answer phone call near a gas cylinder.
Don't put the burner directly on top of the cylinders.

And most importantly commit your safety to God after observing your checks

We dey in the same shoes man.. I know a guy who came back from work and trust Nepa people na with power outage... So when this guy entered his house, he was perceiving a gas odour and he decided to trail the odur to see where it was coming from and the odur led him to his kitchen. Since there was no light, he taught of turning on the tourch in his smartphone to see how he could stop the leakage and that was it.. Immediately he turned on his phone touch, the gas went boom!! Thanks be to God he didn't die but it left a serious scar on him despite treatments so since that time coupled with other fearful stories I've heared I fear gas pass lion... This story is not a rumor the guy cuts his hair in the same saloon with me. na him use him mouth narrate the incident....

All the major burner brands have it in their cookers that have up to four burners. Though burners with it cost a little more than those without it.

All European burner brands that i have checked have it in some of their designs.
Ignis burner have it, even some chinese made table top burners have it. You just have to look at for it. Search for the two probes in each burner, one for the igniter and the other for the safety switch for gas cut off.

Guy I've not used gas before and I'm not planning on using it anytime soon... According to the guy, the whole house was dark and very concentrated with gas odur I guess that was probably why it ignited... If you're still in doubt use Google or better still experiment it yourself but according to what I've read online, it could be possible.. And that's why I believed the story...

A light from a phone may give heat, but not ignition class heat. As far as I am concerned, you are just repeating some story you read.
