It's old-skool to me. Anytime I see people using pattern to unlock their phone, am like; seems you are still a noob to smartphone.

The last time I made use of pattern to unlock my phone, was 2013.

Have nothing to do with old school. I use password and patterns as those are the ones encoded in my brain. The rest can be accessed by anyone when am sleeping, Police or even touts by forcily placing my finger on the phone or facing the phone to my already slapped face.

I don't even lock my phone. I worry about something happening to me and because my phone is locked, they can't call my loved ones. This has been an issue in many emergency cases. Not protecting it has some downsides.

Yeah true.. But with this era of finger print.. One can easily access a locked phone even if the person is unresponsive.. All you need it the finger..

I don't use pattern, pin or password. I don't lock my phone. It's my phone so why should I stress myself to open it. If it ever gets lost or stolen I can issue a command to erase the phone.
Please what's the command?

Many thing to lose bro. Once can access your informations. Your phone is linked to your account. Anybody can borrow or make transaction with your phone.
Not possible. Except that person has your transaction pin. And if it's the mobile app, it has an unlock pin that most times will be different from the transaction pin. So.....

Why do you have to lie? 2013?? When did that tech become widespread in Nigeria??
It's choice. My phone has all security methods but I like pattern and use it alongside
What's wrong with these ones? Because I posted a comment on the last time I made use of pattern to unlock my phone, you called me a Liar.

I am not the reason for you people being a newbie in the smartphone world. I ain't the reason for your backwardness; blame yourselves. When someone says he/she last made you of pattern was in 2013, you automatically call the person a Liar. That just vindicates how unexposed you people are. Do you even know what password/pin code unlock is in 2013? If you know, you would have remembered and won't tag 'lie/liar' in your comment before quoting me.

SMH. Just because I referred pattern as 'old-school', thus the reason you lots are being deviant.

What about buying airtime worth thousands on your phone and transferring it.... Deleting any transaction details before you know. And what about having access to your hotspot without your permission( case study; my wife and his brother). There are a lot of reasons you should lock your phone.

Why do you choose to be this dumb? What do you mean by 'caught hands down'? What's obvious from my own perspectives, which doesn't correlate to yours, you are bringing dumb point outta your lame ass.

And again, what has fake got to do with this? I have told you to wise up, but it's like you enjoys being a foolish old man. Jeez!

Even the transfer of airtime can't work except the person has your transfer pin. So we still saying same thing.

For hotspot, except you are a phone guru like me, my phone may not have password & my hospot may be "open" & yet you can't access my data.

I'm not saying it's bad to lock phones o. I'm only saying there are still some things one can't do on our phones even if it's not locked. The main reason I lock my phone is cos of text messages, mails and chats and maybe call log. Some people don't understand what PRIVACY means. Every other thing like mobile banking app is protected on its own.
