Yes, these a series don't need monthly security updates because the one ui secures the phone from threads, but with exception of reported threats, these A series are on quarterly updates. The next update may be in October

Thanks Bro, please do you have any particular recommendations for the screen protector, I read somewhere about 10D screen protector or so......, what type should I buy and
the case as well?
Although it came with a transparent silicone case but I will like to get something more rugged and dope.

One thing I can't do without, is listening to music, as I'm an instrumentalist. I do use Poweramp, (which is arguably one of the best music player for android).
There are actually a lot of visible differences with the Poweramp Music player on the A30, probably because of the android version. Music experience on this device is another thing entirely. .

Another audiophile here and I can testify. I used a10 and even though general performance was supbar compared to a30, but meeen the music output using poweramp was something else. The dolby atmos on Samsung a series actually added a big boost to the quality of the music output. Maybe I noticed because I'm an audiophile, while others may not notice.
