grin See what Schevchenko has caused o.

He said we played like Brazil for 45mins against his Ukrainian team.

Tite heard and Bebeto remembered his tears need revenge. Now we here. grin

On a more serious note, Dribbles go plenty, Misses go plenty, Its a game for the wingers and aerial striking. Lets see how sweet this will be.

On initial condition, its totally normal to write off SE. But can Ndidi and Etebo deal with Firmino?

So you guys think that Osimhen would just score against a well organized Ajax team?

That he'll just waltz right in there and get a goal?

He still has a long way to go. Hopefully, playing against better teams will be an eye opener for him. That he is still miles behind the pro level

Ajax did their homework. All distribution was cut off to Osimhen.

Now that Barkely has missed a penalty, let's see if he'll be racially abused too.

Barkely is white passing. People will gloss over the fact that he has black ancestry.

Really impressed with Tomori today. Lad is far ahead of Zouma in terms of quality and class. He stood his ground and stopped several attacks with a physically imposing display. Fine UCL debut from the lad.

Osimhen didn't score... well not like he is expected to do so everytime but he'll always have my expectations on him high whenever he is on field...
In any case, I was impressed with the way he caused the Ajax defence lots of trouble with his pace and strength especially in the first half. He didn't lazy about but put in a good fight against a really mighty opponent in Ajax who are last season's semifinalists. Ajax did their homework on Osimhen and simply shut down Lille's attacking flow.
Besides... Lille is yet to draw or win a game on the road this season... they only seem to be strong at home. I hope they can get better than that.
In all, I am just glad to see Victor make his debut. By his second or third game, I expect fireworks.

Olayinka scored and boy.... lad really put himself about in that Inter game. He once caught Handanovic off guards but the ref saved the goalie... lol.. showed good awareness getting into position for that rebound. Olayinka did awesome today.

Been a wonderful UCL opening day. Hoping the likes of Okereke, Bonaventure and Believe give us excitement tomorrow.

Jasper Cillesen is Netherlands' No.1 GK. He left barca to seek playing time. So he went to Valencia with Barca taking Neto from same Valencia in exchange.

Senegal would be playing a friendly match with Brazil for the first time in history. Sadio Mané will be playing against two of his Liverpool teammates. Senegal will also play a match with the Super Eagles...

Barca decided to do the Noble thing and let him go. The guy is too good to be a second goalkeeper in any team (Emphasis on 'any team', whether Madrid or Barca ). He left so that he can have more playing time, so bar a swapped him with Valencia's former goalkeeper, Neto

Actually don't think they did any homework on him specifically beyond the fact that the whole of the Ajax team is on another level to Lille.

It's as simple as that.

Never go near blaming him... Ajax is alot bigger than LOSC Lille.

So was the whole of Valencia's team on Chelsea, hence we can't say Valencia did their home work on Tammy. To think that Chelsea played at home and was given a PK grin grin

Ajax is so much stronger than Lille... Not Osimhens fault so don't go near blaming him.
