Was it sin that made your Christ to kill them or allow them to die? Is it because they didn't repent from sin? Didn't Christ die to take away sin, sickness, death and evil from the earth? So why are people still suffering from these things? Including innocent children? Besides, a God who couldn't save his family can never give him the fortitude to bear their painful death and loss. And lastly, such fortitude from your useless God is useless because saving his family is far better than granting useless fortitude to bear a devastating loss.
