Just spoke to a road buddy now.

He is tired of the rain. He changed the bearing of the hub at Ladipo on Monday, and yesterday the noise Don start

If you aren't on rental, you fit sleep. But if na rental, just try to dey select trips. Forget rating. If them block you, go unblock am.

After all, Ladipo and Trade fair guys no dey use rating take sell part for you

Maintenance of car should be considered bro
I would like to know if it's ok to go for new bearings or tokunbo as the bearings were replaced recently.
The mechanic suggested buying new (tokunbo) hubs to solve the problem but I don't think the hubs are bad.
Will I get original bearings as this is what I intend getting.

If you can get the original bearings, I'm sure it will be fine

This changing of bearings now looks like a scam somehow. Maybe we aren't using the original ones.... Maybe

Mobil ATF can also be considered as a cheaper alternative.

Dru can easily give you all the statistical evidence of various transmission fluid used on all his fleet of cars!

Learnt there are many fake ATF DW1 in the market

Caveat Emptor!

I just follow manufacturer advice.. Transmission cost too much to be using anyhow fluid... And buying Tokunbo transmission nay try your luck at ladipo... Most Auto parts that are sold in Nigeria is hard to tell the miles on them .....This is why I tell people to always read their owner's manual.. It will save u in the long run

Original pair of wheel bearings for 03-07 Corolla is over 20k. That is why toks hubs are preferred if OEM bearings can't be got.

Meanwhile, ensure that bearing was actually changed, and that the noise is not from another wheel entirely.

There was a similar protest on the said increment yesterday in Abuja. It was a shutdown as the drivers even went with them AIT, NTA and Channels TV. With adequate security to safeguard lives and properties.

Seniors , one more thing:
someone shared a strategy whereby if you start a trip and cancel immediately ( mayb its an area wt bad roads or yiu r not comfortable wt d trip when you haven't moved more than a metre or so,

you cud cancel n it won't count against you and d rider won't b charged.

Pls kindly explain how this works. Thanks.

Hello Guys, with the protesting with Bolt, is it worth it still registering with them? Can I still make my weekly target with just one app? I am a new driver and haven't even done my first ride. I took delivery of my car yesterday. I have Uber all setup and am good to go but throughout today,I didn't see any request. All I keep getting is You're online / Finding Trips. Is this normal. Although I no comot for my Office area in Fagba so technically not like I was ready to accept any request, I was just test running. Please I need advise from an Experienced Driver. Thanks

It's just about knowing how to position and being rider friendly. Don't go online only to decline requests. Ratings matter alot on how frequent you will be getting trips. Positioning is the Main key. There's something about Bolt riders/drivers (someone once said "Razz" and unruly).

But if you are on rental you may need to go on with Bolt.. me just dey Uber cos na my car.
