Please I don't think this should be the case but am not too sure. I just got a car for rentals, Corolla 05 but it uses 3k fuel to make 5k in total. Is the fuel consumption right

Fill up tank and calculate distance to empty. That's how to get your mpg. Not by 3k to give 5k.

Thanks brother. I am on a HP, and its just 25k weekly. If Uber is enough for me to make my target and still see small change for car maintenance I am good. I have other business that generate money for me so technically it is not a do or die affair orn spend my whole day or week on the road. I hear some pp still do just one of the app and still make good money. Please advise

It's just about knowing how to position and being rider friendly. Don't go online only to decline requests. Ratings matter alot on how frequent you will be getting trips. Positioning is the Main key. There's something about Bolt riders/drivers (someone once said "Razz" and unruly).

But if you are on rental you may need to go on with Bolt.. me just dey Uber cos na my car.

Heard same story last week buy didnt take it seriously... I think i now do

Bolt increasing commission, i will find it hard to believe, with the anaconda grip uber now has on Lagos.
Bolt is barely grasping for breath, what i expect Bolt to do is lower commission and improve drivers' experience.
The 15% commission is really for what, customer service is dead on arrival, no verification of drivers' current documents, lack of timely or non resolution of drivers' complaints, the list of Bolt Naija (formerly Taxify) woes are endless.

Why me will never ever be on UBER!

If you value your peace of mind, UBER IS BAE! but if you have a black belt in Kung Fu and always on the look out to sharpen your skills, then i can relate to why you might love driving solely on BOLT!

I recently got a Nigerian used 08 elantra. Has a perfect engine, braking and gear system. Its AC needs filling, headlamp changed and a small bash to the side of its boot fixed. Anybody willing to fix up these issues, register and drive it on the Uber/Taxify platforms can reach out to me via the number on my signature for further discussions and vehicle inspection.

it’s very wrong. 3k should give u 13 to 15k. That’s what mine give.

Seniors, you mean uber could axe you for canceling trips. :- what about scenarios whereby you cancel for security reasons ( fear of your life and the car. )
and wats the benchmark for cancellations.

How many trips cancelled in a day wud make one receive the hammer?

Seniors, the newbies can learn on how to cancel without damaging ratings or the rider being billed.
Cc: xana, pope , DeeDee, izzou, jaydee, chucsmoore, slamstanlee,

Seniors , one more thing:
someone shared a strategy whereby if you start a trip and cancel immediately ( mayb its an area wt bad roads or yiu r not comfortable wt d trip when you haven't moved more than a metre or so,

you cud cancel n it won't count against you and d rider won't b charged.

Pls kindly explain how this works. Thanks.
