President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, received the Acting Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV had reported that President Buhari on Wednesday, approved the appointment of Dr Yemi-Esan as Acting Head of Civil Service.

In a statement obtained by Igbere TV, the embattled Head, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita, was asked to proceed on indefinite leave to allow conclusion of her ongoing trial by the EFCC.

Until her appointment, Dr (Mrs) Folasade Yemi-Esan was the permanent secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Abuja.

Announcing the visit in a tweet sighted by Igbere TV on his Twitter handle, President Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, wrote;

“President @MBuhari meets the newly-appointed Acting Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan today at the State House, Abuja.”
