Even after African nations won their independence the Europeans refused to help them develop so Africans could mine their own natural resourcres. What you would find is that China and Russia have done good in Africa. The Chinese especially invested hundreds of billions in helping Africa develop. It's a nice gesture on behalf of Pres. Buhari to let it be known Africa would partnership with Europe. I think it's more political than having any real chance of happening. Yet even if so partnership between Africa and Europe would take place would it be an equal partnership? I don't think Africa needs Europe so Africa would have the advantage which the Europeans wouldn't like.

Any Yoruba politician who would secure partnerships with foreigners that in deals that significantly improves the regional economy and gave the greater percent to Nigeria is a presidential candidate. The other tests, as the latter is a test, would be if the presidential candidate has improved the structure of at least one local area. And the third test would be he must show an ability in not only accounting yet also feasibility in all budget matters. Being Nigerian means they enjoy living the high life yet must show some feasibility to stay within means. Pres. Buhari gave a modest speech at the U.N 74th Assembly considering the severity of the current circumstances. ECO currency is about to launch in 2020 so Pres. Buhari invited the European partnership although West Africa doesn't need them. And Pres. Buhari addressed the world's leading cause of death poverty. The U.N is lip service as Pres. Mugabe said Africans and other small developing countries going all the way to New York is a waste of time. None of their demands or requests are ever meet by the U.N governing body. Pres. I have listened to Sowore speeches and I can't find anything wrong with his words. Sowore asked his followers to be law abiding, nonviolent and use their voices to speak against corruption. I find nothing about him to be anti Nigerian. Sowore is not in the category of some who advocates the dissolution of Nigeria into separate states. Another thing there is a touchy subject between the North and South and that is cattle grazing in Southern land. Did you know if you graze cattle there you would erode the fertile soil and in a few decades there will be a food problem in Nigeria? Did you know that North Africa was once the richest agricultural lands in the world until Arab invaders brought their cattle and destroyed the soil? Nigeria must think conservation as a solution to its drought problem. Put those unemployed men and women even prisoners to work reworking rich minerals and soil into the drought lands. Plant trees like they are doing in Ethiopia so that the drought reverses. You don't have to pay money for such labor because people will do the labor for food. APC brags upon massive agriculture production well use food for currency payment. There is no solution in holding Sowore political prisoner because you are dividing APC which has members North and South. ECO currency is the biggest revolution on Earth and APC should be proud of what they have accomplished together in this generation. Your primary focus now must be weathering the storm of the envious and maintaining your national unity as Nigerians.
