IS IT A SIN?

Christian sister got pregnant and the church decided to discipline her since she was not married.

When the elders of the Church met and interviewed her, she told them that she has stayed and remained in the church for several years and no one is marrying her and she is getting old and approaching the age of menopause where she can't get pregnant even if married.

So after reading some Christian medical journals on this issues, she decided and did the artificial insemination since she too wants a child. She tendered both medical journals and medical documents that showed it's from a reputable hospital.

The sister is pregnant without committing fornication nor adultery with any man.

Now could this be a SIN?

LoL! Can you imagine a bunch of people who believe in a virgin giving birth getting hot and bothered because an unwed woman is pregnant? Bwahahahaha!

As humans, our standard and idea of sin changes with time but sin is the same to God through all ages. Not all human activities hated by God are written in the Bible but anything we do as genuine Christians that would displease God should be made known in our conscience.
A genuine Christian can't justify going against the only platform instituted by God for raising up a child - by a man and his wife (all things being equal). It would be a mockery of the family institution for a Christian man or woman to consciously and deliberately have a child outside holy matrimony just because he/she can't wait on God to provide a spouse.
