During Jonathan’s time - Sambo was just a figure head such that almost 50% of Nigerians don’t even know who the VP was. He was inconsequential totally.

They are waiting for you to do what you just said. Nigeria politics is vicious and the players are perhaps more devious than you think.
Don't also forget that some people from your region can't wait to sit on your chair.
My advise, sue the interested parties and move on.
Moreover, immunity doesn't bar investigations, it does to only trial.
