Everytime I come to Nairaland, I can't do without opening travel section, so tey everything come tire me, 70% of Nigerian Youths including I myself living in this country want to leave this country for greener pasture, but I later noticed that if u don't have a good job, I mean well paying job or great business that is providing you huge profit, u can't leave this country. If you don't have relatives like Uncle or sister, even family like mum & dad, u can't leave this country.....it takes only miracle for dream to move abroad to happen if u fall under all these catergories. Friends won't help you to come over they have their siblings and family, remember the word "family first". Scholarship to move abroad this days is not even like before again, scarcity scholarship program, what if you don't even qualify after searching one.....I also fall for these catergories, no helper, no body only God and I want to move this year....... since 2012 when I finished my waec I told my self. I'm moving to either UK, US or Canada before 2020, but now looking like dream looking impossible.

What exactly do you want? Anyway its not compulsory you move to US, Canada directly. Gather some thousands and move to the UAE. If you have enough, do two years visa, that will aid you to land a better job. Then you can save for some years and afterwards move to Canada and the likes. Its never easy anywhere.

You can check the threads discussing migration, there are many of them?

Not everyone travelling doesn't know people abroad.

What better job will someone who finished WASSCE in 2012 get in Dubai?

OP, you're right about the difficulty and trust me, it'd get more difficult in five years time. The best route is through student visa and last I checked, the visa refusal rate these days is very high. It seems you don't have spectacular grades. Well, you can help build Nigeria with Buhari. Good luck!

The easiest, and surest way to move out of Nigeria is to go as a student. You do not need to have a relative for that. Going as a student will give you enough time to integrate into your host country, and the know-how to convert your temporary student permit to a permanent one. If you have money, and the required certifications, there is nothing stopping you from leaving. People get student visa every day.

But even with that bros, 120k is damn too paltry. Considering you spend over 600k go get there.
I get your point though
