So OP made several points about bad behavior of some Nigerians in foreign countries. Ironically, less than 6 posts later, representative Nigerians have started demonstrating those same traits... Unfortunately the message is being lost. |

MiztaYouneek:My brother 3 gbosa for u Jare. No mind them. They think it is Nigeria where u shout, "do u know who I m?" we should learn to inconspicuous in any country or place. If u ve to be conspicuous for ur business, learn to separate business n ur normal life. |

MiztaYouneek:Honestly this is a Nigerian problem, I don't know how Nigerians became this bad, it hurts. Tribalism and religious division in Nigeria contributed to this mess because everybody wants to show he has somebody at the top at every small opportunity. Every Nigerian want to intimidate the other using his or her connection or whatever, its really sad |

TSRC:Well, the way I was brought up was to state facts clearly and not tus.h them up. I believe if we as Igbos call out our brothers and sisters (which I do online and offline) to order, it will go a long way at mitigating the issue. It's because these countries don't care which ethnic group one comes from, trust me, if they do, you know what will happen. Yet again, before one gets a Thai visa, the individual must get a clearance from NDLEA. Whose fault is that? |

Nigsrdumb:Guy u fit go o! But me I no fit claim Benin o! I wan claim Canada, or Australia. Everybody need to find somewhere to claim o! Cus this govt helped to destroy Nigeria's image both home and away. Yes Nigerians commit crimes abroad but we all not like that. Other countries also have their bad elements but their president don't come out to tell the world that their citizens r criminals. If u r vigilant u il notice that the news of Nigerians caught for one crime or the other escalated after the our leaders came out saying Nigerians r criminals. Now the economy has gone to shambles and the only way Nigerians think to solve the problem is to bale o! Run comot for this country and guess what! The other countries know this so they r even making sure the Nigerians in their country r sent home so that more il not come o! |

Spot on we had the same discussion yesterday and even today. Sometimes I think it's a Yoruba or Igbo problem only to clearly see that it's a Nigerian thing. |

Most Nigerians home and abroad are guilty of grandstanding and it's quite a national epidemics, to be honest. Bragging, boasting and showing off is a national embarrassment to which most Nigerians are fond of. The Yorubas living in London are the worst culprit I have seen Yoruba men and women speaking inside the public Buses boasting about Babalawo and Sexual capabilities inside the buses with a loud voice with absolute disregard for other people. Maybe, it's a way of getting attention that they're no longer illegal immigrants after so many wasted years. |

Gerrard59:Unfortunately, your facts are one sided. The biggest and the loudest Nigerian internet fraudsters in the diaspora are not Igbo. The momphas and hushpuppis of this world. I don't see you talking about the internet fraud and the loud fuckkks that perpetuate it. In fact you are hell bent on Asia when the bulk of our national reputation was damaged in Europe and america. Your so called facts are incomplete at best and bigotry at worst. |

emonis88:Brah let's stop sugar coating the average Nigerian has criminal tendencies. I used to defend Nigeria with everything but seeing what's going on , I weep for the country. Obviously I'm talking out of frustration and wish things change for better. Look at them criminals and prostitutes

MiztaYouneek:this up here is the story of my life...... the matter don tire me. the good thing tho is that we still have good number of upscale and sensible well educated Nigerians (especially in my area) but the vast majority (especiAlly igbo and Yoruba ones, the uneducated and all) are just a big disgrace |

blackmantis:The OP is clever by half. He is downplaying the rudeness of a particular tribe to their hosts by picking the two trybes to share the blames. What you do amongst your countrymen irrespective of trybes is likely what you do outside the country. To know if he has painted a true picture of what he claimed he experienced outside Nigeria,we should ask Nigerians of other trybes to tell us their experiences on manners or lack of it from Igbos and Yorubas who sojourn in their communities . |
