Watching Villarreal versus Betis now, I can't help but wonder why Cazorla never for once, played for Barca. This guy is a typical Barca midfielder

The guy definitely has more knowledge about the Czech league than you or I.

Even if you choose not to ignore his words. The stats of Olayinka in the Czech league are not impressive. At least not impressive enough for a super eagles call up.

Olayinka did not register a single goal or assist in the Europa league last season. Not good enough for a forward player.

Any way you slice it, his performances have been average.
Yes he did. He assisted the goal that knocked out Sevilla

Osimhen named 3rd best summer signing in Europe

Victor Osimhen Osimhen has been named the 3rd best signing in Europe at the summer following his great with Lille.

The Nigeria international has scored six goals in seven Ligue 1 matches so far this season, taking Lille to 3rd position on the log.

According to whoscored.com, Osimhen has won the second most aerial duels (37) in France, behind Monaco's Islam Slimani.

“Speaking of blistering starts, few could have predicted the immediacy of the impact that 20-year-old Osimhen would have at Lille. With the club desperately needing to replace the goals lost following Nicolas Pepe’s departure, the young Nigerian has stepped up and led the line superbly.

“He has six goals to his name in seven league appearances – all of which have come at home – and has won the second most aerial duels (37) in France averaging a game rating of 7.74 with Manchester City Rodri (7.76) and Monaco Islam Slimani (7.93) rating better than the Nigerian,” the website said.

The 20-year-old made his international debut for Nigeria at the third place match of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egy

Brazil v Nigeria: Aribo forces Rohr into u-turn
vanguardngr.com Sep 24, 2019 9:38 PM

Aribo netted on his international debut for Nigeria against Ukraine earlier this month just three minutes into the game and impressed hugely during the 2-2 draw.

The Super Eagles face Brazil in another friendly in Singapore next month and Aribo has kept his place in the squad following a strong start to the season in Steven Gerrard ‘s team.

But Nigeria’s manager Rohr has admitted he wasn’t going to include him.

He explained: “My plan was to play a very experimental line-up against Ukraine and use several new players, but then go back to playing my strongest team against Brazil.

“I wasn’t going to include some of those new players that played against Ukraine, but I had to change my mind because of their performances.

“One of the new players, Joe Aribo, impressed me so much that I now regard him as an important member of the team and so he will play against Brazil.

“We have AFCON qualifiers against Benin and Lesotho coming up and I want my strongest squad to play Brazil ahead of them.”

And Aribo admitted he can’t wait to face the South American superstars.

He said: “To play against Brazil are the type of games players look forward to and it’s no different for me.

“It will be a test of how far we have come as a team. It’s a game I have to admit I want to play in badly.”
