Second .. it goes with time .. I personally pee before sleeping just so I don't do the midnight waking ... people with less stronger bladders have to wake to pee .. I think he has to know himself when to wake to go pee .. or rather you guys could change his bed to a less comfortable one so he'd be conscious at night..

On a serious note, I don't think he'll learn how to stop on his own. The OP said he's not remorseful about it. So he doesn't see it as a problem.

Let him be.. Mine stopped at 21 by itself... In his own case it may stop anytime soon, don't waste your time and money, they will give you liquid herbal medicine and still advise you not take water at night abi the medicine no be water

I have a sixteen years old brother that is still bed-wetting. Dad and Mom has done everything humanly possible, but all their efforts ends in futility.... So many methods have been devised to just help him but non worked.

Initially we thought it was because of late dinner, he was stopped from eating when it is after 7pm

There was a time that dad use to whip him, but he stopped when he realized he's not getting any better.

We have bought some medicines, but it is still the same story.

Currently everyone is tired and no one is talking about it anymore... my parents believes that when he gets to uni he will change after a single inglorious display of this act.. He is currently in ss3.

what baffles me is that, my bro doesn't show any sign of remorse. He is always unapologetic and doesn't really give a damn...

I experienced similar issue but i overcame it when i was sent to boarding school (SS1), He will stop it with time probably before he turn 18 years old.

he will stop when he leaves home. you guys can take him to spend holiday with family friends or members that has children of his age.

by the time he stays with them and pee, I am sure he won't keep up with it after getting embarrassed seeing he is not in his fathers house anymore. , nobody will tell him to wake himself up next time.

First thing you have to realize is that this may be hereditary. ..one of your parents or a relation may have suffered the same problem and so should know that it will stop with time.
Another thing is that you guys should try to wake up at intervals to wake him to use the toilet.. It has to be a collective effort. ...

I stopped bed wetting at a very tender age . I think it should be nursery school, I can’t ever remember peeing on myself during my primary school days.

My grandma always wake us up at midnight to go pee.

Get him lemongrass tea.. also, tell him to stop drinking too much fluid e.g. water, tea before bed.

I still bedwet whenever I drink too much water before sleeping and there is cold due to fan, ac or rain/open windows.

Take care of the problem, it's not spiritual or about age!
It's scientific.

Tell him to stop drinking lots of water from 6pm,
Make sure he sleeps with full thick clothes,
Make sure he's room is never cold, (
Turn off the fan and close the windows)

I v been in ur Bros shoes, but we just don't know why, it will stop eventually. Mk una just buy bed cover that will protect the bed and also u can get an alarm clock to wake him up at intervals.

This might sound very odd but it was saved many families from this same problem.

Let him pee on hot charcoal fire before going to bed at night.

He will feel very hot anytime he wants pee on himself this will prompt him to wake up automatically and that is the end of the story
