The MTK is still very powerful but we know you never had any intention to use any Xiaomi device.

Also there is hardly any upper mid-range with dedicated SD card slot. That feature is left for their juniors
PS: A Snapdragon 730G version of the RN8 Pro is in the works too

All Samsungs , Nokia comes with a dedicated Sd card slot up to 1tb
Even Infinix if my memory serves me right

I think it is fundamentally wrong to make users choose between a single sim and a Sd card. And a double sim without Sd card. It is a major turn off to majority of phone users and I.

Nevertheless as an upcoming brand I think the issue will be looked into

You mean 1terabyte? Lol.

S9 and S10 use shared Sim slot according to GSMArena that is, hybrid and not dedicated dual slim slot. So the "all" in your post eh, I don't know what to do with it.

PS: I only posted what I saw on GSMArena.

Yes one 1tb( also known as terabyte), I do know that other brands will not recognize a memory card that is more than 250 gb

You still have much to learn

Not all Samsung and Nokia comes with dedicated SD card slots.

The Galaxy S6 didn't even have a support for SD card same as the Galaxy Note 10(only the 10+ version does).
Samsung S7 dual SIM version had hybrid SIM slot, only the single SIM version had dedicated SD Card slot
Nokia 9 has no support for SD Cards
Nokia 8.1(X7) uses hybrid SIM slot.
Nokia 7.1, Nokia 7 plus, Nokia 7, Nokia 8 uses hybrid SIM slot.

Only Infinix and Tecno have dedicated SD card slots.

Call the brands. Hope you start with infinix and Tecno.

BTW I see the 1TB SD card slot support as a waste because only few persons uses even 256GB SD Cards talk more 1TB

Even 128GB/256Gb SD cards self. When HDDs/SSHDs are cheaper. That won't easily get missing unlike an SD card that can be stolen with a phone

When I generalized it and said all , a more careful person would have easily understood that I meant most. If just 2 older models of S series and 1 model of N series have no dedicated slot that doesn't constitute a majority

besides most of this phones that doesn't have SD cards slot has much internal memory (128,256 and 502) what are you saving in your memory that you will exceed the memory size

These phones are built to last. Not some phones that its lifespan extends just for 2 or 3 years. If I can afford a note 10+ why can't I afford a Sd card. And continuity is what Samsung looks at. Without deleting heavy pictures and reselling. There is no way in 5 years time that 500 GB won't run out. For a pro 1 tb might run out sooner than later. As most films are 1gb +

There are more models, I only listed some. A little research would have helped you. Once you check the specs of a phone if you see expandable to xxxGB and there is no mention of Dedicated Slot. Just know it is hybrid.

Go and research.

In English language, there is difference between Most and All. You have seen you missed a goal, you are now looking for VAR.

Are you talking about phones that loses support after the same 2 to 3 years or less. I laugh in Samsung

Apple iphone 6 has 16gig rom no sd card slot. If you have a phone of 5 years without deleting files to make space for another. Nor reselling to add money and buy another phone. You will discover that the 500 gb will not be enough

I wonder o. When most people can't even buy SD cards that matches the speeds of their Internal memory.

And alot of people are still buying the iPhone without SD card support.

Most people keep things in virtual/cloud storage instead of their memories these days.

If you have a laptop or OTG flash drive better. Who needs SD card these days.

Not loses support as in update but lasts longer as in hardware parts span. Hardware as in case life, battery life, amoled screen and other minor components.

We all know that nokia and pixel gives the most support . That is in terms of software update with a minimum of 2 years even for the lowliest of nokia model

If you calculate the background data it cost you to store important media on cloud. Except you choose when to upload and make sure it's on free data or wifi. You will discover that cloud storage is a scam. Besides movies and videos cannot stood on cloud storage. Nowadays high video quality can produce 30 minutes videos of 1gb +

And OTGs and laptops are not like the phone. They are external attachments which are liable to be destroyed by dust, water, etc

Sure you know this is dependent on usage and spare availability plenty and affordable. Tell me how many people will gladly replace their Sammy's screen when it becomes faulty without thinking twice.

I rest my case on your issue today

I think you were the careless one with your words. All doesn't, even in the stone ages, mean most. So quit trying to twist things and stick to learning from your mistakes.

Truth is, the fact that a phone supports up to 1Tb SD card doesn't mean a large percentage of its users actually use 1Tb SD card. There are alternatives to storage and people are becoming more aware of "other options" other than SD card. Cloud storage, Hard drives, OTG flash drives are fast replacing SD card (...although SD cards still have their importance.) If you've a phone of 128/256Gb ROM, chance are that you MIGHT not need an SD card.

There's no harm in learning just as there's no shame in making mistakes. The only problem is trying to justify your fallacy of hasty generalization by using English. Not a good thing, really.

1. Professional in media don't rely solely on their mobile phones. When you say high video quality be specific. And the size of videos depends on alot of factors. Frame rate, audio codec, encoding as well as final video output after editing.

Videos and movies can be stored in the cloud. Common this is 2019.

2. At the bolded you said OTG and Laptops are external attachments which are liable to be spoiled by dust and water. Are you saying your mobile phone is not prone to damage? Or an SD card is not prone to data corruption as a result of missing or bad sectors as when as viruses?

Also a laptop is not an external attachment

Now to the price of the screen. Samsung supplies most of the amoled screens in the market. I was viewing this thread when someone complained that his LCD screen of his RN7 was bad and he took it to their newly opened service centre at ikeja. And they charged him more than the cost price.

I was also here when a pleasant person advised his brother to return his Mi9t because of cost of replacing the amoled screen. And unfortunately the screen of the RN7 despite being gorilla glass gave in some weeks after.

Now to hit the nail on the head. Amoled screens cost far more than average screens. It is a well known fact it is not a Particular Samsung issue. It is just how it is. Two amoled 32 inch screens at home got broken. Cost of replacement was going to be more than the cost price. Its common to amoled screens
