That is the crux of the matter when the gas get there without p&id facility what does the gas do there that contract was a sham right from the onset because without any facility to receive the gas the gas getting there would have been a waste and if possible a disaster the people that signed that contract knew what they were doing and they deserve to be killed believe me you can't just use Nigerians mentality and money like that we are far beyond that

Include lawyers with 'deep' international contract law knowledge in drafting any Agreement. The last time i checked sovereign nations are immune to prosecution, assets seizure and regular laws in common courts, especially if they invoke national security.

Insert in all contracts the right of the govt to unilaterally withdraw from any contract within resonable boundries of mitigating circumstances. Sh.iiiiittttt! A change in government can torpedo any contract awarded without recourse to due process.


And never submit yourself to outside laws other than your country's. You copy the united states system of govt, why submit yourself to irish or British laws?

Nigeria shouldn't be trusted hence why companies opt for British law. Just recently NPA canceled Badagry deep seaport project. That's going to be another future lawsuit waiting for Nigeria. Its crazy how the state and people refuse to learn their lesson.

He stated that GEJ signed the agreement for out of court settlement of a fraudulent contract ab initio. He didn't border to check anything because Nigeria interest was not in his heart, especially after losing the election.

They showed engineering design of their facility.

You either have a very poor command of English or you don't have the minimum level of intellect to digest simple information.

I am not a big fan of Buhari, I frankly believe he is a Dullard. BUT....

On reading the Bloomberg article and that of Shoodboi, I was shocked beyond words.

GEJ deliberately signed the agreement to pay these thieves simply because he had lost the election ( he signed 2 months before handover)

Regardless of his flaws, for only this PI& D case, Buhari would forever remain a Hero / Defender of Nigeria.


All the collaborators and collaborators like Alfa Belgore shouldn't just be jailed. They should also be shot publicly.

, yes they were supposed to finish their own portion first you don't expect me to supply raw materials when there is no machinery for storage and processing if Federal Government has sent gas there without it being processed and it had turned to a natural disaster or a national disaster whichever you feel, you guys would have still blamed the Federal Government but I know that the project was designed to fail so that compensation will be paid otherwise you can't tell me that you expect a gas line to be run to an empty land, to do what exactly
