There is nothing wrong with her dressing. If my wife dresses like the other women any time she is going for events I will divorce her on time because I can't marry a lady that will always be wearing all these wrapper kind of dress and be covering her hair anyhow. My wife need to always look and dress sharp not local.

And come to think of it, the op didn't even state if she was invited for the event or not. So what if she was the one who hosted the event to help women in need because all I see is hungry looking women everywhere. She probably stands out because she might be there to feed them.
