Any car at 250k miles is already at end of its useful life, even if rebuilt the body would be nothing to write home about. Believe me I am a world class maintenance person.

It's interesting how you persist in your unfounded assertions.

Just so you know, there is no truth in that general statement. Ultimately, what determines the lifespan of any machine (including cars) is how well they are maintained, and not necessarily how old they are. In fact, a greater threat to machines is sourcing replacement parts when they are now very old. Again, what is classified as maintenance in Nigeria is not necessarily the way cars should be maintained and so cars tend to die early in Nigeria because the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule is hardly followed.

And just so you know too, we also buy and drive high mileage vehicles here. Na where we dey buy for customers we dey also buy for ourself.

I bought this F150 at about 214k miles (can you correctly say it's body is not in order?) and drove it for about 4000 miles within one month. Infact, I did close to 800miles in one day and only sold it when I saw my current car. Contrast that with the fact that in 8years living in Lagos Mainland and working on Victoria Island, I couldn't put up to 40,000 miles in total on my car.

Below is the car am currently driving. It is a 2012 Lincoln MKX... and in summary, our story was love at first sight... and we are still in love grin

Does the body look like its nothing to write home about? And do you see the mileage? Yes... you are seeing it correctly at 377,194 kms (234,377 miles) (have already driven it for more than 4000kms since I bought it just over a month ago). Yet the engine purrs like a cat, transmission shifting is smooth, suspension is excellent and zero dashboard lights. If this car was shipped to Nigeria by some dealers, the odometer will be rolled back to 70k kms or thereabouts and buyers won't notice because it is clean in and out. Afterall, how many people in Nigeria actually do VIN checks before buying cars?

Do we buy all the cars we advertise? No. Even when we have received money, final purchase decision is still subject to our determination as to whether or not the purchase is a good deal. We have refunded payments by several people because we were not satisfied with the car when we went on inspection. So respect the person that is honest with you about what you are buying.

I think the 1.2 million then was without clearing, the addition of clearing caused the price to shoot up to about 1.5 - 1.6 million, this was mentioned at some point on this thread. You might have to go back and read the entire thread again.

No sir, I have been following this thread without commenting,
The total cost of most cars hovered around 1.2M with clearing and 900k without clearing.
Kindly read through and thorough.

That was the original intention,
However there were lots of distractions at a point in time,
After that series or episodes of arguments and counter-argument, the price kinda jacked up due to reasons best known to adman.

maybe you can't read, the truth is that I knew it'll go this way ,it's not sustainable ,I bet he's not making a reasonable profit selling cars below that price range ,and yes 1.2 mil was clearing included,go check the old pages he was posting cars with prices of 600k 700k then you add clearing fees of probably 500k making it 1.2 or 1.3 mill
