Whenever it comes to twist,law of twist to protect, our judiciary can be the best of counter and recounter by the same law..I am not going to surprised if the same law freed him..We are in the country of dimensional commedy where fresh one overwhelmed the former..Maina you are full welcome

They just want to recover the loot! He may be arraigned but will not be diligently prosecuted and will çertainly not go to jail! Previous similar cases include Babaccir Lawal former Secretary to F.G, Ita Ekpeyong former Director of DSS And Oke former boss of NIA...

Officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the Department of State Service has arrested former Chairman of the Pension Reform Task Force, AbdulRashid Maina.
Maina, who was involved in N2.1billion pension scam, Igberetv reports.

Maina was arrested in a hotel in Abuja as he attempted running away by shooting at the DSS operatives who tried to arrest him.

He hid in a bulletproof car for several hours before he was forced out by the the officers. Maina was being monitored by the EFCC and DSS after it was learnt that Maina's son was found to be in possession of a missing $1.7m belonging to Maina

Maina is being assisted by top government officials led by Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, from facing his crimes and prosecution following his embezzlement of N2.1billion pension fund.

Maina had in January 2019, secured a court order stopping the EFCC from declaring him wanted.
Justice Giwa Ogunbanjo of the Federal High Court described as unlawful, the action of the EFCC in declaring Maina wanted.

Now arrested, Maina may face full prosecution.

It's not only about this particular post, it's the general pessimist comments people make about every damn thing. That seems to be the trend these days.

Why do we like to receive ourselves in this country ? Where has the man been since his embezzlement palace started ? So these men want us to believe that they are working to arrest him I think..

What hate for Buhari is doing to some of u is simply incredible. This man Maina worked under GEJ's administration, was allegedly accused of embezzlement under GEJ's administration. But people like u still turned around and blame Buhari. Granted he was reinstated under Buhari's administration, but the president asked he be dismissed the moment it came to light.
If u want to blame Buhari, blame him for the things he did wrong, not what others did
