A boy sang Great Nation and u'd think he's Timi Dakolo. We are having so much fun so much so that I forgot that Bubu is still the Presido. Naija ddnt feel like a zoo today. The prog is organised by African Child Initiative. Awesome

Independence celebration is for government workers and those earning good pay. Not for business people like us.

Our leaders should be fasting and praying instead of unnecessary celebration...they left the country worse than pre- independence era..even to maintain existing roads and infrastructure is a problem tailless of building new ones ..What is in the country to celebrate ,is it yahoo yahoo that they have turned the little ones to or kidnapping business that has now become real in the land . The fictions we used to read in James hardly chase novels has now become a reality in our own eyes . No discipline in schools just because we have chosen to copy oyinbos style of doing things and neglect our own heritage ...tell me what is sweet and worthy of celebration when the so called giant of Africa can no longer feed her citizens nor defend them from Book Haram and herdsmen..! It is a big shame of a nation.

China did theirs today, and we're just 11 years shy their independence... I watched their celebration/parade yesterday and I felt PITY for my dear country.
Greedy, clueless, incompetent and wicked politicians controlling the affairs of this nation, I don't know the age we'll get there.
Sometimes I just pray a "MAD", mean, competent leader who means well for this nation to just take over, even if it's just for 4 years, things will definitely get better.

The truth is this, the blame is not just for the politicians alone, all of us are included... Most Nigerians are just crazy, greedy, wicked, always looking for small opportunity to exploit and defraud one another, we need someone with a strong hand to straighten Nigeria.
